Kim Gets Called Out On Her Shady Comments

Kelly’s legal team shared their thoughts on Kim Foxx calling the singer a “pedophile” before he’s even receives a fair trial. It makes her office look a bit unprofessional.

Steven Greenberg, Kelly’s lawyer told TMZ that Foxx’s texts to a colleague in which she implicitly referred to his client as a pedo. On top of comparing his case to Jussie Smollett’s was outrageous, considering Kelly hasn’t been officially convicted of any crime.

Greenberg says Foxx is letting her personal biases affect the way she characterizes Kelly’s case. Which she implied was a way bigger deal than Jussie’s in her text messages that was made public Tuesday.

As you may recall, Foxx referred to Jussie as a “washed up celeb” who’d been slapped with 16 felony counts. While comparing that to R. Kelly only getting charged with 10 counts, mentioning that was a major priorities problem.

What probably pisses her off more is how her office decided to ultimately drop Jussie’s charges.

Greenberg expresses the fact that Foxx is even having these types of conversations with her coworkers is distasteful. It also paints a larger picture about the Cook County State Attorney’s Office. He calls it “dysfunctional and chaotic.” He also thinks Foxx lacks objectivity.

That said, Greenberg says he isn’t requesting for Foxx to be removed from the Kelly case just yet. He does reveal there’s evidence and discovery he wants to get his hands on first before doing anything. Greenberg also says once he and his team get everything they need, they’ll make a decision about Foxx.
