Beyoncé and JAY-Z were walking off stage during their “On the Run II” tour in Atlanta when a random man rushed the stage. He found out quickly that trying to approach ‘Queen’ Bey and Hov was a bad idea.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z Attacked Onstage At Atlanta During Their On The Run II Concert:

On Saturday night, Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s “On The Run II” tour became the talk of social media when video surfaced of a random man running on the stage annd attempting to attack the superstars. Everyone seemed a bit confused at first, but when the person got closer to the backstage entry point, the dancers on stage sprung into action.

In footage shared on social media by shocked concertgoers, Jay and Bey were wrapping up a song at the end of the show, then disappeared from view, when the fiasco went down.

Here Are A Few Other Angles Below:

The end of the video shows a group of security guards holding someone down, as the stunned crowd inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium looks on.

Beyoncè and JAY-Z fans soon took to Twitter to ask how they managed to get so close to their idols.

“I can’t believe that ‘fan’ walked on stage like that like wth,” one wrote. “Where was Beyoncè and Jay-Z security and wth were the security working at the venue? So many questions.”

A second fan wrote, “That fan hopping on stage is scary as f**k. I’d be backstage in a blind rage if I was Beyonce and Jay Z. Where tf was security?!”

Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure confirmed via Instagram that the pair are fine and will be ready to tear up the stage for the next show.

“Beyoncé and JAY-Z on stage tonight in Atlanta. Thank you to all the fans for your concern,” she wrote. “They are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow.”

This wouldn’t be the first time that someone tried to get close to Queen Bey.

Beyoncé Was Grabbed And Pulled Off Stage By A Crazed Fan In Brazil:

It’s no secret that Beyoncé is loved. I mean, she has her own”‘bey hive.”  Clearly,  Beyoncé enthusiasts will go to extreme lengths to get to the queen. Back in 2013, she was performing in Brazil when she was yanked into the crowd by an overzealous fan during her São Paulo concert.

In a video posted to YouTube, a man appears to rush up to the stage and throw his arms around the singer, pulling her downwards almost headfirst into the crowd. The crowd screams and security rushes to pull Beyoncé back to the stage. While the moment seemed scary, Bey never missed a beat. She continued singing her classic song, “Irreplaceable,” as someone threw a Brazil flag on stage.

Just as security was about to toss the man out of the venue, Beyoncé stepped up to defend the man as she urged her  security to let him stay.

“It’s okay,” as she asked the man his name. The man responds and tells Beyoncé that he loves her. She warmly tells him, “I love you,” before continuing on with her concert.

Now, it’s unclear if the recent attacker received that same warm treatment, but what is clear is that the Carters are safe and sound.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
