Raphael Saadiq Finally Reveals Why He Left Tony! Toni! Tone! & Discusses Brother’s Death

Saadiq also spoke about what really went down with Tony! Toni! Tone! and how their relationship is today:
“I left the group because I feel like the industry was destroying us. And I just said “You know what? I know the Tony’s is really big, but I’d rather have my brother, than have us be having some feud over money or anything like that.” Now I have my brother back. I been had him back. His kids are like my kids and it’s like nothing ever happened.”
Saadiq also revealed that he and the rest of the group are in the early stages of collaborating for an upcoming reunion album, which would be a welcome addition to any old skool lover’s music collection. Check out the entire interview below.
