After Blackface Controversy, Rapper T.I. Goes In On Man Still Wearing Gucci [Video]
‘It’s What’s In Ya’, Not What’s On Ya”…
After a look at the video, you’ll see that T.I. wasn’t trying to hear anything the young man had to say about why he still chose to wear Gucci.
The rapper only seemed to get more agitated the more he tried to plead his case. According to the young man, he didn’t see the issue because T.I. “used to rock Gucci.”
However, the rapper clarified that he hasn’t worn it ever since the brand intentionally disrespected him. Well… …that had no affect on the young man’s perspective.
“Don’t none of these white folks like us,” he says to the rapper. “So, if you gon’ buy, buy it.”

All in all, this goes to show that the Black community isn’t aligned on the issue. Likewise, some people feel that T.I.’s activism is fake — especially since the ban is only temporary. According to T.I.’s Instagram, it was only set to be for three months.
