Regina Hall Reveals Getting Way Too High With Her Mom, Rushed Her To Hospital
Regina Hall has been making audiences laugh for years with a career that dates back to the role of Brenda in the Scary Movie franchise from the early 2000’s. And with recent success in the widely popular film Girl’s Trip Regina continues to captivate audiences with her charm.
Even recently, on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Regina told an unexpectedly funny story about a time she had to rush her mother to the hospital because she got way too high off of marijuana.
It All Started With Grieving The Loss Of Her Dog
Recently, Regina lost her dog Zeus to a battle with cancer, which saddened her so much that her mother Ruby came to console her in her time of need. According to Essence during Ruby’s visit Regina informed her that she still had some of Zeus’ medical marijuana left, which he used to ingest in the form of a honey-like gel. She told Jimmy Kimmel;
“I was sad. I couldn’t sleep. My mother came to visit because it was traumatic for me. And she had arthritis. And so I gave her a little, and I took a little.”
Regina says that after the two of them put a dab of the medical marijuana on a cracker she noticed that Ruby had taken just a little bit too much, however Ruby didn’t take too kindly to Regina’s warning.
“I knew it was too much. I said “Mommy…that’s too much” and her quote, she said “That little dab you give me barely does enough.”
Seems like Ruby didn’t understand what she was truly getting into because as the night wore on things took a hard left with an unscheduled health scare.
