Remember The 90’s Group Jade?!! Well We Found Them!

jade vintage How many of you remember the 90’s trio, Jade? They represented the last of a dying breed- R&B groups that we will probably never see again in mainstream media, at least not based on the current state of the music industry. Male and female R&B groups seem to be extinct now…today’s music industry model is has just about destroyed that concept, I tell ya! But I digress.

Anyways, let me take you back to 1992, when these lovely ladies were being heard all over the airwaves with their hit songs, “Don’t Walk Away,” “Looking For Mr. Do Right,” and “I Wanna Love You.”

They were beautiful, they were wearing box braids, and most importantly- they could sing! That’s another thing that seems to be a dying breed in the mainstream music scene- singers who can actually sing. C’mon now, y’all know what it is- we have Beyonce’, Fantasia, Ledisi, Chris Brown, Dwele, and a handful of other new school artists who actually have great voices, but other than that, it sounds like many new artists have to be plugged up to a machine just to stay on key, but I digress.

Alright now back to our girls, Jade. After the 90’s era these ladies seemed to have fallen off of the map and everyone was like ‘Where did they go?’ Well now we know. I’m not sure how I missed this one, but it turns out that ‘they’re baaaack’ *in my Poltergeist voice*. Jade actually made…
