Kandy Isley isn’t the only young woman in her family who married a soul music legend, her big sis’, Krystal, managed to do so as well. Both married up, on several levels: financially, age-wise, and more.
A we previously reported, Kandy Isley (44) has been married to music legend, Ron Isley (79), for the past 16 years (since 2005) and counting. Although the Isley Brothers OG is 35 years his wife’s senior, they’ve made it work and clearly love each other very much. They also have a son together.

Krystal Johnson is the older sister of Kandy Isley and their sister, Kandy Johnson. Each of these ladies are background singers. Kandy and Krystal are also have their own R&B group together.

Kandy Isley’s sis,’ Krystal, was married to the one and only (drumroll please)…Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire! Krystal’s age isn’t crystal-clear, but it’s been said that she’s in her mid to late 40s. Her ex-hubby Philip is 69.
Krystal was reportedly EW&F’s background singer when the two fist began dating.
The former Mr. and Mrs. jumped the broom in 2002 and divorced 8 years later, in 2010.

Philip Bailey and Krystal also share two children together – sons, Jaylen and Jaleel – whom they’re successfully co-parenting.

Word on the Old School curb is that Philip Bailey quietly married his longtime friend, Valerie Bailey, shortly after his marriage to Krystal Johnson was a done-dada. But, they’ve never publicly confirmed their marriage date, so you can take that info with a grain of salt. However, Philip and Valerie are in fact Mr. and Mrs. now though…that, they have confirmed.
