Hip hop mogul, Russell Simmons’, Father’s Day sucked…to say the least. Why? Because his daughters, Aoki Lee Simmons and Ming Lee Simmons; as well as their mother (Russell’s ex-wife), Kimora Lee Simmons, have been blasting him ever since.

Russell Simmons Responded To Daughter, Ming Lee Simmons’ Shade
On Father’s Day (June 18, 2023), Russell posted on Instagram, venting his frustration about feeling left out of Father’s Day celebrations. He also seemed to be blaming his ex-wife, Kimora, for making it difficult for him to be a father to their children. His post read:
“STOP TELLING FATHERS THEY SHOULD HAVE ASKED MORE TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN AND START ASKING MOTHERS WHY THEY HAD TO FIGHT AT ALL”

Kimora And Daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons Clap Back…With Receipts
Russell Simmons’ daughters and his estranged wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, called him out publicly. The daughters accused him of not being present in their lives and neglecting them, while Kimora Lee Simmons blamed him for making it difficult for him to be a father to their children. Aoki Lee Simmons, one of Russell Simmons’ daughters, shared numerous unpleasant text messages exchanged between her and her pops, as well as a video of him angrily ranting during a FaceTime call. Overall, Russell’s kids and Kimora seem to suspect he’s having some mental health struggles, but is refusing to seek the help they fee that he needs.

Wow…the Russell Simmons his family has put on display here seems a to be lot different from the kumbaya-meditating-peaceful Russell his fans have come to know him as in recent years.
