Via TMZ: Prince’s body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning. Multiple sources connected to the singer confirmed he had passed.
The singer — full name Prince Rogers Nelson — had a medical emergency on April 15th that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois. But he appeared at a concert the next day to assure his fans he was okay. His people told TMZ he was battling the flu.

Prince made his last appearance just 4 days ago when he stepped on stage at Paisley Park to let the world know that he was doing better after his plane had to make an emergency landing for his mysterious health problem, which landed him in ER for a few hours. At his Paisley Park surprise appearance, Prince didn’t perform, but he told the excited audience “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.” Unfortunately his statement was precise, because it has only been a few days since he made that statement. Clearly he was in a much worse position than what he led on to be and that just shows how dedicated he was to his fans and how much of a fighter he actually was.
