Sad..Paris Jackson Scrubs Hateful Graffiti Off Dad’s Walk Of Fame Star, But There’s A Catch

Posted On : June 14, 2018

Paris Jackson may be part of a star-studded family but she never has a problem reminding people of the fact that she’s human. There have been many times where she’s taken to social media to voice her frustrations about statements people have made or things they’ve done overlooking the fact that she’s a normal person just like everyone else. Yesterday was definitely one of those days for Paris because she took to Instagram with a little lesson on respect. All the drama started when Paris learned Michael Jackson’s Wall of Fame star had been vandalized with graffiti.

Not Here For It:

On Wednesday, June 13, Paris took to Instagram with a series of photos from the Walk of Fame. She could be seen scrubbing the vandalized “Michael Jackson” star which was covered with red spray paint. Of course, many people can understand why the vandalism would get under Paris’ skin, but there’s a reason why some people just don’t get it. Apparently, the star Paris was seen scrubbing isn’t her father’s. Of course, that little detail has led to one big question tons of MJ fans are askin’.

But There’s a Catch:

So, why did Paris scrub the Walk of Fame star even though it actually wasn’t her father’s? Paris insists the reason is simple: it’s the principle; “a name is a name.” In other words, she could careless which Michael Jackson it is. She’s making it clear no one disrespects the name “Michael Jackson” and gets away with it. You disrespect the name, you’re disrespecting them all. “I understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name,” she wrote.

For those who don’t know, Paris – born Paris-Michael Jackson – is actually named after her father. So it’s understandable why she’d be a bit ticked.

Life Lessons From Paris:

The latest news about Paris follows the backlash she received from fans when she didn’t attend the Billboard Music Awards to support her aunt Janet Jackson. Last month, Paris took to Instagram with a colorful statement for the haters. She wasted no time defending herself offering her side of the story. At the time, she revealed she wasn’t even invited to the event. “No one from my mgmt reached out to me about attending billboards or about the award, and no one from my family did either. I had absolutely no idea until y’all spammed with hatred,” Paris said via Instagram.

She also shared a subliminal post about the Jackson family dynamic, according to People magazine. “Dear social media followers, friends, stalkers, lovers and haters, and fellow moonwalkers: Please do not tell me/demand/try to control how I handle my relationship with the people in my life, specifically my family,” she wrote. “As amazing and as s—ty as things can be, it is no one’s business but ours. I understand that some of you feel some sort of connection or need to be apart (sic) of our lives considering you watched us grow up,” Paris continued. “However, I am handling my situation exactly how my father did. And I am happy keeping it that way. I will always have love and respect for my family. ALWAYS,” the star added.

“Every family has their moments of trauma, heartbreak, separation, love, oneness, tribe, pain, everything. EVERY FAMILY. My family, specifically, and a good number of others… well, our drama is broadcasted worldwide through media. But that doesn’t mean our family issues are any different from yours. Ours are just made public.”

On more than one occasion, Paris has made it quite clear she doesn’t play the disrespect game.

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
