Hip hop legend, Kurtis Blow, went on a social media rampage today (1-26-17) against The New Edition Story, N.E. and BET for their portrayal of him. He even went as far as to describe it as “alternative facts”…

The reason that “These Are The Breaks” hitmaker is pissed with The New Edition Story (which was an excellent movie by the way) is because there was a scene in the movie where Blow, who was the hottest thing since sliced bread at the time, got offended when he was asked to open up a show for New Edition. He then immediately kicked that request to the curb and also denied N.E.’s request for an autograph in the movie…

So now, Blow has been letting his Twitter fingers do the talking and although he didn’t quite deny everything New Edition revealed about him, he did, however, flat out deny that he disrespected the Nation of Islam, which was another thing that was included in the scene. He also retweeted a few people whom he agreed with and demanded that his side of the story be told as well:
