We have nothing but love for Keenen Ivory Wayans -he’s a very talented actor, writer, and director- but could you see him playing that “JT” role? It’s not that he probably couldn’t pull it off, hell he co-wrote the entire movie (along with Robert Townsend), but it’s just that all of the actors executed their roles to perfection in the movie, therefore removing any element from it would change the dynamic of the film.
