Iyanla Vanzant’s son was about to lay hands on one the male guests on her show, “Iyanla Vanzant’s Fix My Life” and we’re not talking about the kind of hands a preacher lays on his church members during his Sunday’s services, we’re talking about the ones that rapper, Scrappy, said he was gonna lay on Stevie J., translation: Iyanla’s son was ‘about to put dem paws on him.’

You see ILOSM fam,’ what had happened was that on Saturday’s “Fix My Life” episode, a man and his wife went to Iyanla for help after the man had cheated on his wife and had a side baby during their marriage, all while the wife seemed to kind of accept it. In the midst of Iyanla trying to explain to the wife why she should at least properly discuss her man’s continuous cheating habits with him, the husband became irate and decided to run up on Iyanla.

That’s when Iyanla’s son, who is part of the film crew, ran up on the husband seemingly out of nowhere to put the brotha in check about coming at his Mother as if he wanted to do something to her. Check out the clip below…

This is a beautiful display of a child willing to defend his parent at any cost and Iyanla’s son didn’t seem to have acted irrationally in any way, he did what most sons would have done in that situation.

It’s amazing though how people go on shows like Iyanla’s “Fix my Life”, ask for her help, and then get pissed off when she doesn’t tell them what they want to hear. Hopefully that guest got a chance to watch himself on television and has now decided to rethink his ways and make a change, not just regarding how he stepped to Iyanla, but also within his relationship with his wife as well, which was the main focal point of the episode in the first place.

On a side note, this isn’t the first time Iyanla’s son has put one of her guests in check for disrespecting his Moms. Last year (2015) when DMX was a guest on the show and started going off and shouting at Iyanla for trying to making him man up about his abandonment of his son, Iyanla’s son once again came outta nowhere and let DMX know loud and clear that he wasn’t gonna let it go down like that.
That’s the type of old school mother/son love that will never go out of style…not even in today’s times when it seems like most of the good traits from back in the day are now nonexistent, even youngins of today will still have that same type of unconditional love for their parents no matter the costs.
