multiple people … and he says he has no clue who did it.

We're told Bonds says he was jumped in downtown L.A. Thursday around midnight ... beaten into unconsciousness, and left in the middle of a street. One of his friends happened to be driving by after the attack, realized it was Bonds and drove him to a hospital.

His injuries are pretty brutal -- requiring 8 stitches across his eyebrow, and 2 in the middle of his head. He was released early this morning. Bonds is telling friends his attackers jumped out of nowhere, and he didn't see any faces. He did not call police.

 

De’Aundre most recently starred in the 2015 film, Dope, and has been getting rave reviews on hi performance. We’re not sure if this beatdown was the result of haters being jealous of seeing him restart his career again, or if it’s from some prior beef he may have had, or if it’s simply a random senseless act of violence, but we’re glad the man made it out of there alive. things could have been a lot worse from the looks of his hospital photo.

Since his attackers are still on the lose, we hope that De’Aundre can stir clear of more trouble because he seems to be a determined dude and it’s without question that he is a remarkable actor. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him on the big screen again real soon.
