She ‘Git It From Her Momma’: Watch Blue Ivy Show Up & Show Out At Cousin’s Birthday Party

Posted On : October 23, 2017

Although some of us, Old Schoolers, are just about sick n’ tired of hearing Beyonce’ on the radio every hour, on the hour, for almost 2 decades, many of us still respect her incredible talent. On the other hand, when it comes to the adorable 5 year old daughter that Bey’ and Jay Z produced, Blue Ivy, we can never get enough of her.

Blue Ivy, who could also go by the nickname, Lil Miss Diva, is never one to shy away from the cameras. Throughout her 5 years of existence, we’ve watched Blue work a red carpet, a school dance recital, and we’ve even seen her get her dance on at her mom’s concert, while her Pops held her in his arms.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Blue Ivy was the life of the party at her cousin, Julez’s (Solange’s son) 13th birthday bash. It was the cutest thing to watch Blue ‘dab’ on ’em and mix in her own style of “milly rockin'” while at it.

FYI: For our fellow old school heads- don’t feel bad if you don’t know what the hell a dab and/or milly rockin’ is, because thankfully, unlike back in the day, we now have Google and Youtube to keep us abreast on the youngins’ latest dances. Personally, I miss the days of the running man and the cabbage patch, but hey…it is what it is.

Anywho, back to Blue, check her out cuttin’ up at Julez’s birthday party….she made sure to step in front of the boys, toward the front of the stage, so everyone in attendance can see her. Too cute! That’s what happens when you’re the child of two living music legends.

Can’t wait to see what dance moves Blue Ivy’s twin siblings are gonna do when they’re her age.

By the way, in case you missed some of Blue Ivy’s other camera stealing moments, we gotcha covered. Behold her now infamous dance recital upstaging of her fellow dance recital divas…

Blue Ivy had those precious babies up there looking like Beyonce and Destiny’s Child…nope not Beyonce in Destiny’s Child….Beyonce’ AND Destiny’s Child…there’s a difference. Oops! Did I say thaaaaat?!! I still love y’all Kelly and Michelle…no love lost Queens.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
