5. She’s writing an autobiography about her life. Being a girl from Compton, CA and establishing herself all the way up the ranks to being Michael Jackson’s protoge’ and close friend…we’re pretty sure she has a bunch of stories to share. Looking forward to reading this.

6. In October of 2014 Siedah married her husband, Erik Nuri, a Harvard graduate and he’s also in the music industry.

World on the Old School curb alert:
When Michael Jackson passed away, his close friend, producer Teddy Riley publicly revealed that MJ was in relationship for years with one woman in particular and that they would sometimes go through their ups and downs. Teddy said MJ would sometimes confide in him about what he was going through with his girlfriend. Out of loyalty to MJ, Riley said he would never reveal who she is, and that he would leave that up to the woman to publicly reveal herself if she chose to.

After Teddy said that, many people speculated that MJ’s lady might possibly be one of three women who were in his life – Siedah Garrett, Diana Ross, or MJ’s children’s nanny. Keep in mind that this rumor has never been proven at all, but it’s still interesting nonetheless. The thought of who MJ was in a long term relationship with is an entertaining one, as people try to get a better picture of who he was behind the scenes as a man and not just an icon.
