A slightly slimmer Mary J. Blige paid homage to all women for Women’s History Month (March), by sharing an inspirational message, with a slight dash of body on the side. Nah, bump that…our girl, Mary, hit us with a side of ‘I’m-a-bad-mutha-check-out-my-6-pack-abs’…LOL, and ain’t nothing wrong with that.

Mary has always been hella sexy, but I’m not sure if her newly toned up body is the result of stress, diet, or exercise…or a combo of all three. However, as she goes through her divorce battle with Kendu Isaacs, it’s probably safe to assume that it’s a tad bit stressful when your ex is allegedly trying to hit you up for $130,000 A MONTH in spousal support.

Although there were several public updates on their divorce proceedings a few months ago, lately Mary J. and Kendu have been keeping the ugliness of it under wraps. Good for them, because their’s was starting to look like Keshia Knight-Pulliam and Ed Hartwell’s, unfortunately nasty public divorce. It’s tough being a celeb’…especially when they’re going through real world problems.

Good thing is that Mary seems to be taking her divorce drama all in stride, as she adjusts to her new normal- the single life. On a side note, I can’t help but wonder if K-Ci is somewhere plotting to pounce on a second opportunity to get Mary back with an expression like this…

Pretty sure Mary probably isn’t interested in getting her ol’ thang back though, but as a fan, it’d be nice to get another classic from them, like “If Loving You Is All That I Have To Do.” They CUT UP on that song, didn’t they?!!

In Case You Missed It, Here’s The Latest On Mary J. & Kendu’s Divorce

• As we’ve already mentioned, it was reported by V-103 that Kendu wants $130,000.00 per month from Mary in spousal support. That will reportedly cover Kendu’s various expenses, such as a personal chef, HIS child support payments, groceries, vacations, monthly charities, gifts and things of that sort. The last we heard about this whopper of a request is that it’s still as is. But neither Kendu or Mary have confirmed, nor denied this as far as we know.

• After rumors surfaced that Mary’s decision to divorce Kendu was over his alleged cheating and his alleged mishandling of her funds causing her to have IRS tax problems, Mary spoke out on Good Morning America:

Her Breaking Point

“The breaking point was when I kept asking over and over and over again for respect and to be respected,” Blige said. “And it just seemed like I was beating a dead horse and it seemed like I was talking to a wall. I just wasn’t getting it back so if I can’t get respect in the relationship, then I have to move on and save myself. That was the point where I was like, ‘I’m done. I just can’t do it anymore.'”

Mary’s Message To Other Women

“My message to those women that are going through the same thing that I’m going through or a similar situation is that you cannot rely on people to handle your business,” Blige said. “You have to handle your business. You have to take responsibility and stay on top of it because things like this will happen if you don’t.
