Did CNN Just Fire Geragos?
In addition to the ‘co-conspirator’ allegations against Geragos, he received more bad news today from CNN, where he was a contributor to the network:
Via AP– CNN has cut ties with Mark Geragos just hours after the celebrity attorney was named as a co-conspirator in a case accusing lawyer Michael Avenatti of trying to extort Nike.
A CNN representative confirmed Monday that Geragos is no longer a contributor to the network but didn’t specify why. His name is no longer listed on CNN’s website as a legal analyst.
Damn, Mark Geragos has spent decades building his brand, as a force to be reckoned with. During his career, he’s successfully represented many mega-stars, including Michael Jackson, Colin Kaepernick, Wynona Ryder, Chris Brown and more. But it seems his career may possibly get tainted once this investigation is all said and done.
What does all this mean for both R. Kelly’s and Jussie Smollett’s cases? Only time will tell.
