Janet Jackson seems to be enjoying mommy-hood and  “living the single life” like Cameo these days. She looked extremely happy when she was spotted strolling through a New York airport today (7-10-17) with her baby, Eissa.

Of course it was a shock to everybody, but Janet seemed to be in no rush to run from cameras and spying eyes. She walked at a steady pace, cradling she and soon-to-be-ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana’s, baby boy. Eissa looked content as all get out in his mommy’s arms and Janet, at 51 years old, is still apparently dropping the pounds she’s been working so hard to lose in preparation for her upcoming tour…

Although Janet and Wissam headed to court to start their divorce preparations, the two reportedly have a really great friendship. They’re dedicated to successfully co-parenting Eissa, which is evident in the quality time both of them have been spotted publicly spending with their lil’ man…

It hasn’t been announced whether or not Janet plans to remain in London, where she and Wissam have built a life together for the past few years. However,  one source revealed to DailyMail that she’ll probably remain in London, while Eissa is really young and then relocate back to the U.S. permanently after that.

For now, it looks like she’s content with visiting her friends and fam’ in the U.S. every now and then. By the way, this must be an exciting time for the Jackson fam,’ because for many of them, this will be their first chance to meet the nearly seven month old addition to the family.

Janet looks comfortable in her new mother role. Her big brother, Jermaine, even said he knew Janet was gonna be a great parent because she naturally has a warm motherly instinct, with a stern take-no-mess approach when it comes to training children. In other words, it sounds like Janet has a perfect blend of her Mama Katherine and her Poppa Joe’s genes…she’s not too soft and not too hard.
