Standing Together: Lauren London Receives Support From The Widow Of Sean Bell
Nicole has taken the pain she endured from Sean’s murder and become an activist and motivational speaker. Along with fellow activist Shenee Johnson, who was two months pregnant when she lost her fiance Shon to gun violence, Nicole wanted to offer words of comfort and healing to Lauren, who recently posted a new picture of herself and Nipsey to Instagram.
Nicole offered Lauren these words of wisdom;
“The pain doesn’t ever leave, you just learn how to live with it,” said Paultre Bell. “We find other ways to channel our strength and that may be through speaking. And that may be through forging alliances with other women who have been through it. Sometimes an idle mind is a devil’s playground. So remaining busy, but keeping healthy. If you’re feeling sad and you’re down, you’ve got to reach out. If it’s not a therapist then you have to reach out to someone who has been through what you’ve been through,” she explained.
Shenee Johnson also added her sentiments;
“I would encourage Lauren London, and his mom and family to keep them themselves surrounded by the people that are going to lift them higher because that’s how you make it,” said Johnson. “I would also like for people to also, even when it’s not in the headlines and when it’s not so popular, we keep going.”
