As many of us may have heard by now, the iconic Stevie Wonder was a busy brotha- both on stage and in the bedroom. He has 9 children by 5 mothers and his children range in age from 3 to 43 years of age. Right about now, it’s his 13 year old son, Mandla Morris, who’s shooting for the stars- as in ‘dancing’ with them on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars Juniors” competition show. Stevie, being the very hands-on proud papa that he’s been to all of his kids, was right there by his son’s side for the show’s rehearsals and that’s where all of the ruckus and mayhem started:

Via The Blast– We’re told everyone at the dance studio in West Hollywood went nuts when Stevie arrived, and he spent some time with fans in the parking lot taking photos before heading inside where the top-secret action was going down.

Once it was time for Mandla to man-up and show off his dancing skills, he was up for the challenge for their first practice. His musical genius pops thought it’d be a cool idea to drop by rehearsal and soak it in for a lil’ bit. As to be expected, the unsuspecting lookers-on were shocked as hell to see Mandla’s daddy stroll up to his rehearsal.

They then proceeded to do what most folks do in the presence of an OG icon, like Stevie- they whipped out their phones for selfies and video, when all Stevie probably wanted, was to hear whether or not his son’s two step game was on point. At any rate, Stevie was graceful as always and politely smiled for the cameras. His son is accustomed to watching fans’ reactions to his dad, so he took it all in stride too. And besides, when there’s a $50,000.00 DWTSJ payday for the top competitor at stake, pretty sure Mandla was too busy keeping his eye on THAT prize, as opposed to having time to worry about his daddy’s fans.

Speaking of Stevie’s kids, his other teenage son, Kailand Morris, is out here doing big things too.

Stevie Wonder’s Son Is A Model!

Kailand and Mandla are the results of their Pops’ marriage to their mother, Kai Millard Morris. They were married in 2001, had two kids, separated in 2011, and ultimately divorced in 2015. When most of last saw them together as a family, Kailand (16) and his brother, Mandla (13), pretty much looked like this…

Fast forward to now and Kailand is a professional fashion model, who looks more like a young man, rather than a 16 year old kid in his photoshoots. Here he is today (swipe left)…

Of course his parents couldn’t be more proud of him for pursuing his dreams. Matter of fact, his mother, Kai, has her fair share of proud mommy moments on social media. She often shares Kai’s modeling gigs, including his walk down the runway during 2018 New York Fashion Week for clothing brand, Phillip Plein…

Although Stevie’s marriage to his ex-wife, Kai Morris, didn’t make it for the long haul, they’re still friends. Stevie is currently married to his 43 year old wife, Tomeeka Bracy, who’s ironically the same age as his eldest child, Aisha. Tomeeka has two children with Stevie, as well as three more kids from her first marriage.

Overall, Stevie Wonder is close to all of his children and regardless of how hectic his music career gets, he always finds a way to be there for them. We wish Mandla much luck on “DWTSJuniors” and all the best to Kailand with his modeling career.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
