“Growing Pains” actor, Alan Thicke, passed away at 69 from a heart attack in December 2016. But unfortunately, years afterwards, two of his three sons — singer, Robin Thicke (44); and Brennan Thicke (47) — were still having major issues with their pop’s widow, Tanya Thicke (46).

Alan Thicke’s two eldest sons were legally battling his widow, over the fate of his $15million estate. Now, the battle has come to an end and left lingering emotional wounds. According to The Blast, Robin is accusing Tanya Thicke of ruining his father’s legacy, by going on a media blitz to “feed her insatiable desire for publicity.” This comes after Tanya was rewarded the largest rationing of Alan’s $15M fortune:

Via The Blast- According to documents obtained by The Blast, widow Tanya Thicke will get 40% of her late-husband’s estate, valued at $15,793,278.48. Each of his three children — Robin, Brennan and Carter — will receive 20%. Robin, who is an administrator in the estate with Brennan, blasts Tanya by saying she stayed “True to form” and “initiated a media blitz serving no purpose but to besmirch the Co-Trustees and feed her insatiable desire for publicity regardless of the consequences to Alan’s legacy or his children.”

Along with cash, Tanya gets to keep a ranch in Carpinteria, CA. A $100,000 loan which was given to Robin by his father was also cleared and “forgiven.”

According to the LA Times, in 2017 Alan’s eldest children, Robin and Brennan Thicke, filed a court petition in LA, asking the judge to uphold the agreement their dad and Tanya had before their 2005 marriage. The docs state that Tanya “threatened to make her claims fodder for ‘tabloid publicity’ unless the Co-Trustees agreed to participate in a mediation and succumb to her demands.” Also included in the filing, are Alan’s 1988 living will, as well as the updated revisions their dad made to it in February 2016.

Callau was given permission to continue to live at the ranch as long as she kept up the property, paid expenses and agreed to consult with her late husband’s sons before making any major changes, the documents said.

Via People: The iconic actor died of a “ruptured aorta” and a “standard type A aortic dissection,” according to Thicke’s official death certificate obtained by PEOPLE. The document states that Thicke died mere minutes after his aorta ruptured. […] The Canadian native complained of chest pains while playing hockey with his youngest son, Carter, at Pickwick Gardens skating rink in Burbank, California. Shortly after being taken to the hospital, Thicke had died..

A ruptured aorta is basically a major tear on the aorta, which is the largest organ in the human body.

It was also reported, by TMZ, that “doctors desperately tried to save Alan’s life by performing a median sternotomy — it’s a surgical procedure where doctors literally crack open the sternum to open up the area around the heart and lungs so they can operate. Alan was stricken with the heart attack at around 11:15 AM last week. He died 3 hours later in surgery at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank. Time of death was listed at 2:14 PM.”

According to TMZ, the funeral took place earlier today in Santa Barbara and there was nothing but raw emotion from those who attended. Robin Thicke attended with his girlfriend, April Love Geary, and a host of close family members and friends. Although the funeral was a private affair, news outlets arrived at the burial location and snapped a few photos. The ones circulating on social media have touched the hearts of fans everywhere.

The photos captured show just how difficult the day was for Robin Thicke and his family. At one point, the grieving singer can be seen walking away from the burial site, presumably to regain his composure. According to Daily Mail, Robin Thicke broke down as he said goodbye to his father for the last time.

However, fans haven’t been the only people to pay homage to the late actor. The cast of Growing Pains also did a tribute to Alan Thicke last night. His co-star Joanna Kerns reacted to his death during an interview with TODAY.

“I am devastated by Alan’s passing and will be for some time,” Kerns wrote. “I used to joke, before I met my real husband, Marc, that Alan was my favorite daytime husband. At work we laughed all day, everyday at things Alan would come up with, usually at my expense. It was fun. Alan was fun and we all loved teasing each other.”
