Welp, according to Mr. Love, Spike is far from pro-Black anything…at least when it comes to his moves within the entertainment industry. Faizon took issue with Spike’s iconic biopic, Malcolm X, in which Denzel did the damn thing when he literally morphed into the historic icon and made us believe we were actually watching Mr. X. in action. However, when Faizon, along with comedian/actor, Deray, stopped by Hot 97’s ‘Ebro in the Morning’ radio show, Faizon blasted Spike. The radio hosts were pretty surprised by that, as were much of the listening audience I’d presume.

Faizon feels that Spike should’t have portrayed his character, ‘Shorty’ (the best friend of Malcolm Little…before he converted to Islam and became Malcolm X), as lighthearted persona for such a serious film. By doing so, Love believes that’s what qualifies Spike as a “house nigga.” If you think it sounds like he’s reaching a lil’ bit with his explanation, I’m with you on that. But just to give Faizon the benefit of a doubt, check out what he said below…and for the record, Deray made it 1000% clear that he was NOT rockin’ with Faizon’s point of view on this one.

“Oh, he’s a house nigga for sure. He’s been a house nigga for years. Trust me. Look at him! You don’t do a movie like Malcolm X and put yourself in as the jibbering comedy relief. […] They ain’t gonna do Schindler’s List and say ‘Hey we’re gonna put a little comedy in here.’ They do it for real,” Faizon said.

Is He For Real?!!

Some may disagree with me, but although I dig Faizon, I beg to differ with him on this one. He’s minimizing the entire body of work with a supporting character (Shorty) that had little screen time in a very profound biopic. I think if ‘Shorty’ was excluded film, it would have given a more watered down perception of who Malcolm Little was and the lifestyle he lived, versus who Malcolm X became as a reformed man-turned-Nation-of-Islam-leader, who fought for basic civil rights of African Americans.

As far as Spike Lee’s delivery of that masterpiece of a film- which Denzel should have won an award for- many would argue that it was Spike’s best work to date. Aside from the Malcolm X film, Spike has spent his entire directorial career standing up for whatever he felt were injustices, unfairness, etc. toward African Americans in many realms of our culture, regardless of who agreed with him or not. He’s even been shunned, at times, by Hollywood because of it, but Spike never allowed that to silence him. So it’s understandable why many are raising eyebrows at Faizon Love for calling Spike Lee, of all people, a “house nigga.” Thoughts ILOSM fam?

Comedian and actor Faizon Love is being sued by his personal assistant for allegedly being a sex crazed boss.

Faizon Love Is Being Sued By His Former Personal Assistant For Sexual Harassment: 

According to TMZ, a woman named Tashiana Luke worked for comedic actor Faizon Love as his personal assistant. However, she only maintained the job for 17 days before she resigned. Tashiana says she was hired June 9, 2016 and quit on June 26th as Love allegedly made it an unpleasant work environment. While working for Love, Luke alleges that he gawked at her and made suggestive remarks towards her.

Your *ss looks nice in those pants, Love reportedly would tell Luke.

Not only would Love allegedly make inappropriate remarks to Luke but he would make comments about her finances. Knowing that Luke needed her tuition paid, Love would make remarks towards her suggesting that she could provide sexual acts for him to get money.  In documents obtained by TMZ, Tashiana said one night Faizon texted her a sexual message accompanied by a video.

I shot a test scene. [W]hat do you think and the message included video showing a young woman performing oral sex on Faizon.

Feeling like enough is enough, Tashiana Luke is suing the comedian/actor and his company, Dough Boy Inc. She is suing for sexual harassment and seeking unspecified damages. This isn’t the first time that Love has been in the hot seat as he was arrested for an Ohio airport altercation.

Actor Faizon Love,48, was arrested back in March of 2017 after her got into an altercation at an Ohio airport. Love felt like he was attacked and he didn’t believe that he should apologize. Faizon is normally known as a fun-loving comedian but this time, he was not laughing.

According to TMZ, Love was heated after he received a long-term parking ticket for $1,000. While he was upset about the ticket, he grew even more upset because of the valet driver’s, 24-year-old Terrence Artis Gaines II, customer service. Faizon claims that the valet driver was incredibly rude with a lot of lip service. Love tried to ignore him but the valet driver allegedly threatened to put hands on him. So, Faizon decided to show him that “real life isn’t Twitter”.

Real Life Isn’t Twitter:

Love claims that the valet driver allegedly spat at him. For Love, that was the final straw! He claims as he turned his back, he overheard the driver clearing his throat. The spit is not apparent in the surveillance video, but Faizon insists he did  as it just missed him. Video footage captured Love grabbing Gaines by the neck and tossing him like a rag doll.

While Love is 6’1″ and 370lbs, versus Gaines’ 5’7″ and 125lbs, he doesn’t regret his actions. The Elf star informed TMZ that social media has created monsters within today’s youth as they are often disrespectful. These kids are just running rampant and they talk crazy to you on Twitter and they don’t understand, on Twitter they safe. In life you can’t talk crazy to people, especially the grown folks, and you can’t spit on nobody.You can’t do any of that imaginary stuff online. And he said that it teaches a lesson on what happens when he is not treated properly.

Faizon Love was arrested and placed in the Franklin County jail Tuesday night. However, the next day, he plead not guilty and was released on a $2,000 bond.

He is refusing to apologize to a young dude named Terrance Artis Gaines II, who works at the valet counter of Columbus Regional International airport, after beating that man down harder than ‘Big Worm’ was about to do ‘Smokey’ in Friday.

Faizon’s reason? We’ll get to it in a minute, because he’s just spoken out about it. But first let us do a quick recap for those of you who may not have heard about this Ali beatdown Faizon gave ol’ boy the other day.

Beatdown Recap

Faizon went to the Columbus, OH airport, (the city where he owns a home), to pick up his car after being out of town. Video surfaced of an altercation between Faizon and three valet guys whom, he said were trying to charge him about $1000 to get his car out of valet and he knew that was WAY over budget because he’s used the service plenty of times before.

Long story short: One of the valet youngins can be seen coming from behind the valet counter and talking reckless to Faizon. Faizon is then seen steppin’ to the youngin’ and that’s when all HELL broke lose. Faizon is then seen manhandling the dude like a paper doll until another employee breaks it up.

In a camera phone video of the incident Faizon is heard telling the dude ‘Let’s go boy… let me show you what a man do,’ after the guy stepped to him.

Faizon eventually gets arrested and video surfaces of his court footage and his attorney explaining the incident to the judge.

According to BET, during a sit-down interview with Tom Joyner, the Real Husbands of Hollywood star said he feels like Katt is not living his truth.

“I actually feel sorry for him sometimes,” he said. “Like I said before, he’s not living his true destiny. He’s living this fake gangster [life]. He got this whole persona from a friend of mine named Mac Minister. He’s a real pimp who tried to do comedy.”

Faizon explained that Katt’s violent outbursts as of late are a result of him trying to mask who he really is.

“I think these burst outs [sic] come from when a gay man doesn’t want to just be gay,” he said. ” He’s beating these women up. He knows his boundaries… In Hollywood, you can play those games.”

When a stunned Joyner asked the comedian, “Did you just say Katt Williams is gay?,” he responded confidently: “Yes. It’s not an accusation. You guys see it but you don’t want to see it. It’s like with ‘Woo, woo, woo’ [alluding to Luther Vandross].”
