LAPD has named Eric Holder as their prime suspect in the shooting death of Nipsey Hussle and is wanted for the homicide.

The suspect was last seen driving a 2016 white 4 door Chevy Cruze, CA license plate 7RJD7842.  Anyone with information related to his whereabouts or this homicide is urged to contact South Bureau Homicide at 323 786-5100.” Sources from LAPD have not reach out to Holder as of yet.

Sunday afternoon we reported that Nipsey was brutally gunned down Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, outside his clothing store in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Unfortunately the rapper was pronounced dead at the hospital after paramedics performed CPR at the crime scene and during the ambulance ride. The L.A. County Medical Coroner declared that Nipsey had died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso. In addition to the rapper, two other people were shot, but they survived.

The Evidence

Fortunately enough Nipsey was murdered in view of a surveillance camera. The footage shows the shooter in a dark colored shirt walk up towards the small crowd. Within a few seconds you can see what looks to be him opening fire at least 3 different times on Nipsey before kicking his body and running back towards the alley.

Sources claim that the rapper killer had a heated exchange not too long before the shooting. It is said that Nipsey asked the man if he had snitched to cops in the past. Apparently that was the word floating around town. The guy must have felt disrespected because he left and came back with vengeance… and gun.

Police had previously described the shooter as a black male in his 20s. Cops think that a woman might have been the driver of the getaway car.

Nipsey Hussle had a meeting scheduled with LAPD for Monday, unfortunately a day after the rappers untimely death. The meeting was arranged to discuss the preventing gang violence and it will still go on in his honor.

Law enforcement sources say that the Roc Nation honcho Jay Brown had a conversation with LAPD on behalf of Nipsey. The goal is to set up a face-to-face sit down between the rapper and at least a couple high-ranking police officials.

Roc Nation tweeted “Our hearts are heavy over the loss of our brother, Nipsey Hussle. Rest In Peace. Our thoughts, love and prayers to his family and friends.”

In response, Steve Soboroff tweeted; “We (@LAPDChiefMoore and I ) were meeting , at the request of @NipseyHussle with him and @rocnation tomorrow at 4pm to talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids. I’m so very sad”

Three months ago Jay had reached out to L.A. Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff in efforts to coordinate the summit. Nipsey’s intention was to bring light to the gang violence going on and ways to prevent it in L.A. With the main focus on his own Crenshaw District neighborhood.

Soboroff revealed not too long after Nipsey was gunned down at his clothing store that the meeting was indeed supposed to take place Monday afternoon. LAPD Police Chief Michel Moore with Soboroff were going to be representing LAPD.

Despite the rappers untimely murder the meeting will still go on as originally scheduled per Jay’s request. He insisted that the meeting moves forward to honor Nipsey’s wishes. Sources say that Jay may just fill in for Nipsey. The meeting actually could have happened days ago. The police commissioner spoke on how he regretted not holding the meeting earlier.

He says, “The sadness that I feel — I wish we could have had the meeting on Friday. I think he would have been excited about all the possibilities, and I know we were.”

Game amongst a lot of others are taking Nipseys death pretty hard. The Game was reflecting his friends death early this morning. The rapper had posted a few videos of himself driving in the wee hours Monday morning around 4 AM. The rapper does not show his face but you can clearly hear the distress in his voice.

He expresses how dumbfounded he is by the fact Nipsey not only murdered at his own place of business but in his own neighborhood in the Crenshaw District. The rapper goes on to say how much good his friend was doing for the area and that is what disgusts him the most.

Game sums up by saying, “LA on some bulls***, on me”. Very similar to Jay Zs reflection on XXXTentacion murder last year.

Depending on which era you came up in, you either remember actor, Merlin Santana, as “Stanley,” “Rudy Huxtable’s” boyfriend on The Cosby Show, or you remember him as “Romeo,” the student on The Steve Harvey Show who was always trying to mack on the females at the school. What many may not know is that Merlin was murdered in cold blood at the age of 26, in 2002 and the reason he was murdered will make you even more heartbroken and angry at the same time.

He Had A Tough Time Getting Roles

Soon after The Steve Harvey Show ended in the same year, 2002, Merlin had a tough time getting new roles. He was very depressed about his stagnant acting career as he attempted to re-adjust back into regular society.

He continued to try to find new avenues to creatively express himself, so he channeled his energy into recording a rap album, which didn’t really take off.

“Hanging Out” Would Ultimately End His Life

While still searching for acting gigs, Merlin would sometimes hang out with his boys and meet women, until that one night when he met the female who would ultimately cause him to meet his death date on November 9, 2002 in Los Angeles, CA. Here’s what happened according to reports:

‘One particular night he’s [Merlin Santana] out with his friend, [Brandon] Adams (also a child actor People Under the Stairs) at a Chinese restaurant when they met up with a girl and her friend. The girl told Merlin that her name was Mercedes. All four of them had dinner and went to a club later that night and hung out.

Later on that evening, Merlin and “Mercedes” had sex and then went their separate ways afterwards. The next day when “Mercedes” was hanging with Merlin he didn’t show her the same attention he did the day before and this fueled something in her.

[Either] the same night or a few days later…Monique met up with some friends of hers, Damien Gates and Brandon Bynes, along with the girl she was with the night she met Merlin. Because she was mad at Merlin for “giving her the cold shoulder”, she told Gates and Bynes that Merlin had raped her and she told in a way that it got her friends fired up. That same night, they went back to their place and got their guns. Gates got a 12 gauge shotgun with a laser on it and Bynes got a hand gun. After retrieving their weapons, they learned where Merlin would be, which was at a house party, and waited for him to come out of the house. When Merlin and his friend left the party, they sat in Brandon’s car for a second or so.

While sitting there they noticed a red laser in the review mirror and both looked back to see what it was and that’s when Gates and Bynes opened fire on Merlin and his friend, mostly at Merlin. Brandon was able to drive off and once he was at a safe spot, he noticed that Merlin was slumped over in the passenger seat. Brandon immediately called 911 in which Merlin was taken to the hospital but later died. The cause of death was a bullet to the head.

The police later arrested Monique, (who was really 15 and not of age as she had Merlin believe), and her accomplices.

Shot By A 12 Gauge Shotgun

It was later learned that the shot that killed Merlin was from the 12 gauge (Gates) and that the handgun (Bynes) never fired a shot because it jammed. Monique only got 10 years in juvenile hall  for her participation in the crime. She will be 25 years old when exiting from Juvenile Hall. Gates got three consecutive life sentences plus 70 years in prison. Bynes received 23 years for assault with a deadly weapon and voluntary manslaughter.’

This is the one of the sickest attempts of revenge I’ve ever heard. Monique King was just a kid at the time of Merlin’s death, but something clearly went wrong in her life to make her capable of telling such bold lies. Simply because Monique was offended that Merlin treated her like a Ms.-hit-it-and-quit-it after she willingly had sex with him on the first night, she thought the man deserved to die over it?!!

Ten years was just a slap on the wrist for the pain she and her accomplices brought to Merlin’s mother, Lea Santana, and his daughter, Melody, who had to grow up without a Daddy. If Monique has served her full sentence, she is probably out of prison now and living out the rest of her life, something that Merlin will never have the opportunity to do. Hopefully Monique King and her accomplices have been rehabilitated, and we can only pray that Merlin Santana’s loved ones have found a way to manage their grief.

William Balfourwas arrested right away – the day of the killings. So he was never confronted by relatives or reporters, and he never testified at his trial. But now he claims he was set-up and there is a bigger conspriacy going on.

“I didn’t have nothing to do with the case and don’t know who had anything to do with the case,”

A jury found that on Oct. 24, 2008, Balfour shot and killed Hudson’s mother and brother in their Englewood home and abducted her 7-year-old nephew in a jealous rage. The youngster was found shot to death in a stolen SUV. Police said the keys were found in Balfour’s pocket. And witnesses said they had seen Balfour with a distinctive chrome and black pistol like the one used in the murders.

Balfour claimed he was set up. All the evidence against him — from the gun residue found on his clothing to the witnesses who saw him near the crime scene — was concocted by police. “To hear you describe it, this was a huge conspiracy,” the ABC interviewer says. “Exactly, exactly,” he replied. Of prosecutors claims that he had threatened to kill his wife Julia Hudson, Jennifer’s sister, he dismissively added, “We wasn’t even in a relationship anymore.”

ABC7’s Chuck Goudie: “Did you ever have the gun?”
Balfour: “No. Not one time.”
Goudie: “So the people who said they saw you with the gun were lying?”
Balfour: “Exactly.”

During the interview, he accused many of the prosecution’s 81 trial witnesses of lying – including his friends and his then-wife Julia.

She testified that Balfour had repeatedly threatened to kill her family and then her.

Goudie: “You wanted her dead, didn’t you?”
Balfour: “No, not at all… we wasn’t even in a relationship anymore.”
Goudie: “You told people that you wanted her dead, didn’t you?”
Balfour: “That never occurred. Them are all allegations.”

Goudie: “You never said it?”
Balfour: “No. Never. Not one time did I ever threaten her, period.”

Balfour was on parole at the time for a 1992 attempted murder conviction.

Prosecutors used cellphone records to place him near the crime scenes and cited gun residue on his clothing and on his car steering wheel – all of which he claims were planted by police or concocted by evidence technicians.

Goudie: “To hear you describe it, this was a huge conspiracy.”
Balfour: “Exactly, exactly.”
Goudie: “Would’ve involved lawyers, witnesses, the police, technicians – is that correct?”
Balfour: “Right.”

The jury deliberated two and a half days and found him guilty of all charges. The judge called his soul “barren” and sentenced him to life without parole.

His appeal last year was wholly rejected, with Illinois justices saying there was “plentiful evidence” he killed “all three members of his wife’s family” after many threats to do so. And last month the U.S. Supreme Court refused to take his case.

Goudie: “Why should anybody believe what you’re saying now?”
Balfour: “I mean it’s up to them to make sense out of it. Because if you make a statement and the statement don’t add up to the way the murders happen – then it’s a problem. That’s reasonable doubt.”

Balfour, 34, is a career criminal; the police paperwork on him is pages long. Since age 14 – a gang member, car-jacked, burglar and drug dealer. A 10th grade dropout whose father and brother are both ex-cons.

Goudie: “If you didn’t kill Jennifer Hudson’s family, who did?”
Balfour: “I don’t know. I can sit here and speculate the many names and just throw them out there to you, it still wouldn’t solve it, period.”
Balfour refused to answer only one question.
Goudie: “Why did you not testify?”
Balfour: “My trial lawyer.”
Goudie: “You could’ve overruled that.”
Balfour: “I know that. But they was things that was discussed in private about takin’ the stand.”
Whatever those were, he wouldn’t say. But he was happy to discuss his boyhood friend Hudson who, a year before the killings, he was pictured toasting her Academy Award.
Goudie: “What would you say to Jennifer Hudson if she was sitting across from you?”
Balfour: “I didn’t have nothing to do with her family being killed. Period.”
Goudie: “Do you ever think about Julian?”
Balfour: “Of course I do.”
Goudie: “What do you think about him?”
Balfour: “This was a child that I used to see all the time, tried to get him to ride a bike, all the time. I mean… I don’t know… Do I miss him? Yea. Do I love him? Yea.”
Goudie: “Why would a 7-year-old have been killed?”
Balfour: “That’s what I’m saying… it could have been a wrong place at the wrong time, the person who come in there to kill somebody don’t kill who they kill. If you are a witness and you can identify somebody, they can say I killed him because he could have identified me but that’s not the case.”
Goudie: “That 7-year-old boy could have identified you.”
Balfour: “That what I said earlier, that he could identify me and that’s why he got killed. Or he killed him because he could identify him. Now Julian was smart, he could remember faces.”
Goudie: “And what do you think about a person who could kill a boy that age in the way that he was killed?”
Balfour: “Heartless, straight heartless. He isn’t got no family morals, nothing.”

Balfour’s lawyers declined comment. Jennifer and Julia Hudson did not respond to I-Team requests for interviews.

See, it’s very complicated…the issue with James Brown’s estate has been an ongoing one since his departure, December 25, 2006. From that point, there have been enraged legal battles over Brown’s estate, because as much as we love James Brown’s music, moves, and spirit, there’s millions of dollars at stake. The courts have said it had no idea what the estate was worth, but giving an estimate of $5 million to more than $100 million.

So, now Yamma Brown, (one of Brown’s children), spoke of her violent relationship with her husband, and his aggressive means to get his hands on the estate of James Brown.Yamma Brown gave some really explicit details about what happened just days after her father, James Brown passed away, in her book, Cold Sweat, My Father James Brown and Me. So it was her account of the day that she knew her marriage was over, two days before her Dad was to be buried. But why?

In an except from her book, Yamma said this of her then husband Darren;
