When iconic N.W.A. founder and rapper, Eazy-E , died in 1995, it wasn’t widely known exactly how many kids he’d produced. Fast forward to 26 years later and some are still confused about that. Some reports state he has 9 and his manager, Jerry Heller, claimed Eazy had 11 kids with 8 women.

Despite the confusion, one such offspring of Eazy’s is pretty well known- his 30-year-old rapper daughter, Erin “Ebie” Wright (pictured below), who as we recently reported, was just 3 and 1/2 when Eazy passed away.

Now, here’s the thing…we’ve already covered Ebie’s story, here on ILOSM. We’ve even shared how much she’s inherited her Pop’s outspokenness, which was evident in her public disdain for his widow, Tomica Wright (we’ll explain that in a minute). But most Eazy-E fans had no idea Ebie’s mother is a banger, who’s making these youngins shout, “Heeeeeeyyy Ms. Parker,” every time they see her.

In addition to be fine and fly, Ebie’s moms is helping her defend Eazy’s legacy from the alleged destruction that has been done to it by his wife…which, we’ll also explain in a sec,’ but first…

Meet The Mother Of Eazy-E’s Daughter’s

Introducing Tracy Jernagin, the former love of Eazy-E. As y’all can see, Ebie “git it from her momma”…

In a prior online post, Ebie referred to her Moms as her “best friend”:

“Entered the new year with my best friend by my side … For years we’ve put everyone else’s needs in front of our own and as empaths we don’t regret it but this year we’re dedicating ALL of our time, love and energy to ourselves …. We have so many things in store…. cheers to what will be our best year yet mami”

Ebie On Her “Trauma” After Eazy-E Passed Away

On Father’s Day 2021, Ebie shared a throwback photo of herself as an infant with her parents, Tracy and Eazy-E, with a caption that captured the depth of her pain since losing her father:

“These holidays just aren’t ever what they’re supposed to be for me .. there’s always more sadness than celebration . However, still a gratefulness to have had the time I did and enough memories to last me a lifetime ❤️. Happy Father’s Day to my dad (R.I.P. 👼🏽) AND to the greatest person he could’ve possibly left me on this earth with @tracyjernagin 💐. It’s impossible to completely fill both shoes but goodness have you done the most wonderful job trying to do so every single day of my life . This is a really interesting tidbit of information that we wanted to share with y’all, after the many conversations that surrounded Michel’le’s prior biopic, “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, and Michel’le.” The man in the photo above, is someone who reportedly knows Michel’le very well. So much so, that he surprisingly claimed that he almost gunned down Dr. Dre over her back in the day. But his alleged relationship with Michel’le isn’t what you might be thinking.

His name is Christopher Toussaint and in 2013, he revealed to Diary Of A Hollywood Street King, why he apparently came this close to shooting Dre over Michel’le Toussaint. You see where this is going yet? See what Christopher a.k.a. rapper, Soliarii, had to say about this below…

MICHEL’LE’S BROTHER ALMOST SHOT HER THEN BOYFRIEND, DR. DRE?

Christopher says that he is Michel’le’s brother and that back when Michel’le was in her past alleged abusive relationship with Dre, he was about to shoot him for putting his hands on Michel’le. Here is what HSK reported in 2013:

The ‘Late Bloomer’ indie lyricist — whose real name is Christopher Toussant — says he’s tired of hearing people “talk about” Michel’le’s “corrective surgery” … the reported result of the R&B Diva’s physical abuse by baby daddy Dr Dre. That’s why Soliarii — who explains he was “a teen when all that was going on … and tried to protect his sister” — recently recalled the “day she [Michel’le] came home, bruised and clearly beaten by Dre.”

Here’s what Soliarii had to say about it: “Our mother and grandmother kept me from going into the living room and gunning Dre down. To this day, Dre still doesn’t know what our mother and grandmother did for him.”

Now here’s where we gotta play devil’s advocate and raise an eyebrow (or two):

– One thing we couldn’t help but notice is that Michel’le spells her last name as ‘Toussaint,’ but Christopher spells his as ‘Toussant.’ We also understand that artists change their names or the spelling of their names all the time though, so maybe that could be the reason for the elusive ‘I.’

– The other eyebrow raiser is that we have searched high and low for any physical evidence that proves Michel’le and Christopher are siblings and have come up short. Now that still doesn’t mean that they are not siblings, but we just thought it was worth pointing out, so that y’all can have all of the info and then decide who you believe in this situation.

***UPDATE: We were recently sent the throwback photo (below) of Soliarii a.k.a. Christopher Toussant standing in front of his sister, Michel’le when he was a kid. We were also informed that Michel’le’s birth name was Michelle Toussant (not her current name,Michel’le Toussaint, with an “I” and apostrophe’). So it looks like Christopher is telling the truth about being her brother after all ILOSM fam.’

If this is true, we are SO happy Christopher was stopped from executing his plan that day.

The legendary N.W.A./Ruthless Records founder, Eazy E. (real name Eric Wright, Sr.), was the father of 9 children when he passed away at age 30 from A.I.D.S.. His first born child, rapper Eric Wright, Jr. a.k.a. Lil Eazy E.’ was 11 years old at the time of his pops passing and Eazy was a newlywed, having married his wife, Tomica Woods-Wright 12 days before he died. Fast forward to today and it’s apparent that Eazy’s widow and his first born baby ain’t really too fond of each other these days. However, they have agreed to settle their legal dispute now.

When Eazy E. died, he left Tomica in control of Ruthless Records and the rest of his business affairs, presumably because all of his children were minors at the time. That is also what has now caused many problems between Tomica and Eric Jr.. It’s been a long, grueling battle between Eric Jr. and Tomica. It started in 2017, when Tomica hit Eric Jr. with a lawsuit and he countersued her.

Why Widow Sued Lil’ Eazy E.

Tomica sued Eric “Lil Eazy E” Wright Jr. for illegally using the trademarks for his father’s Ruthless Records and N.W.A. brands:

Via The Wrap: According to the suit, Tomica Woods-Wright’s company, Comptown Records, took over ownership of Eazy-E’s label Ruthless Records after the rapper’s death in 1995, and has “continuously used the trade names, trademarks, and service marks RUTHLESS, RUTHLESS RECORDS, and N.W.A. “

However, the suit contends, last July [2017] Arnold E. White, an associate of Eazy-E’s son Eric Darnell Wright, formed a corporation in California called Ruthless Records, and both Wright and White filed a trademark application for Ruthless Records Inc., which was subsequently rejected because ” the mark is confusingly similar with the RUTHLESS and RUTHLESS RECORDS marks owned by Ruthless.”

Why Lil Eazy E Countersued Dad’s Widow

Here is why Eric Jr. countersued Tomica soon after her initial lawsuit:

Via TheWrap: Eazy-E’s son calls B.S. on those claims, saying that Comptown gave up the right to those marks through abandonment, and in any case Comptown’s application for the marks was marred by false claims.

“Upon information and belief, Plaintiff made false and material representations with the intent to deceive the United States Trademark Office,” Wright’s counterclaim. … In his answer to the complaint, Wright also accuses Comptown of “fraudulent activity prior to obtaining the registrations” for the marks.

Their Settlement

As of August 2018, Lil Eazy E and Tomica have settled their dispute (at least legally they have), but Eric “lil Eazy E’ Wright Jr. ended up with the short end of the stick:

Via The Blast– Eazy-E‘s widow and son have settled their nasty legal battle over the use of the N.W.A. name, with Eazy’s son coming out on the losing end. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Tomica Woods-Wright and Eric Wright reached a settlement that will end the contentious case.

Per their agreement, Eazy’s son agreed to a permanent injunction prohibiting him from using the names “Straight Outta Compton,” “N.W.A.” and “Ruthless.” The deal states he agrees it will only confuse fans if he continues trying to use the marks.The rapper’s widow is allowing him to use the mark “Rich & Ruthless.”

According to the papers, as part of the settlement, the defendants have been blocked from using Ruthless and Ruthless Records, N.W.A, Comptown, Comptown Records and Straight Outta Compton.

The courts have to respect the decision Eazy E. made when he left his wife in control of all his business affairs and trademarks. However, as the son of a legend, it’s gotta sting Lil’ Eazy E. to know he can’t personally use the name and likeness his own father created.
