Boxing legend, Sugar Ray Leonard, has been married to his wife, Bernadette, since 1993. From 1979 to 1983, she was married to former NFL player, Lynn Swann. Approximately five years prior to marrying Sugar Ray, Bernadette was in a serious relationship with Randy Jackson a.k.a. Michael Jackson’s baby bro and former member of The Jacksons. That’s where this story gets interesting as hell.

Randy Jackson reportedly barged into Tina Turner’s house and stumbled upon Tina and this then-girlfriend, Bernadette Roby Swann, participating in what Randy insinuated as being some type of ‘affectionate’ encounter…and that’s when all hell broke lose Tina has never publicly denied this incident. Randy Jackson: “Yes Tina Turner Shot Me”

In 2011, Randy confirmed that Tina Turner shot him, to his Twitter followers when he was asked if the story was true. Check out Randy’s tweets:

“This is something many of u probably don’t know… Yes, Tina Turner shot me. I have the scar to prove it,” Randy tweeted.

“It was in the Eighties. And I don’t hold a grudge against Tina, she’s a great artist and asset to our industry. Having said that, there was no violence on my part, nor have I ever owned or carried a weapon,” Randy added.

He then hinted that something freaky was going on between the two ladies at that time:

RJ: “I went to Tina’s house to see my girlfriend. I guess I caught them off guard. Hmmm…Next question.”

RJ: “Having said that, there was no violence on my part, nor have I ever owned or carried a weapon.”

Tina’s Former Assistant Told All About The Reported Shooting

In a 1993 interview, as well as in his 1998 book, The Real T: My 22 Years with Tina Turner, Tina’s former assistant, Eddy Hampton Armon, gave further details about Tina’s reported ‘Wild, wild, west’ moment:

“Randy had fallen out with his mistress, Bernadette Roby Swann, and she’d fled to Tina’s house,” Eddy recalled. I opened the door to Bernadette and she sobbed: ‘I can’t take anymore. Randy’s threatening me.'”

Eddy says Tina took Bernadette into her bedroom to console her, telling Bernadette that she’s “got yourself an Ike [Turner],” referring to Randy Jackson, and that she “better get rid of him.”

Eddy continued:

“A few minutes later there was another ring from the front gate bell. It was Randy Jackson.

Tina told me not to open the gate, but he screamed, ‘Bernadette I love you, let me in.'”

According to Eddy, Randy eventually climbed over Tina Turner’s front gate and threw a flowerpot through her window. That’s when he says Tina went for her rifle, telling Randy to ‘Freeze or I’ll blow your brains out.’:

“She keeps two loaded weapons, a .38 revolver and a rifle, says Eddy. She grabbed the rifle, pointed it at the ceiling and fired a warning shot.

Everybody was stunned, but it didn’t stop Randy. He fell to his knees and begged his girlfriend to go with him.”

Eddy said Randy then “charged straight at Tina like raging bull,” and Tina calmly let off a second warning shot right next to Randy’s head to scare him. Legend has it that Randy was in fact scared by that point, and began fleeing through the window he’d previously climbed through…while simultaneously catching a bullet in his a$$, courtesy of Tina Turner.

Welp, I guess Tina wasn’t about to have another Ike-and-Tina-moment in her life. Sounds like Randy learned that lesson the hard way.

Luckily, Tina, who was about 49 at the time, was allegedly an accurate shooter that day and seems to have intentionally avoided hitting Randy’s vital organs. All seems to be forgiven now though…at least from Randy’s side of things.

So who knew that Randy Jackson & Michael Jackson had beef that almost got Randy shot?!! Well, according to MJ’s former bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard, things used to sometimes get out of hand at Michael Jackson’s ‘Neverland Ranch’ with “vultures” – as MJ referred to certain folks – as well as with a few of his family members. In particular, Whitfield and Beard told a very detailed story about MJ’s baby brother, Randy, once causing ruckus at MJ’s home. In their book, “Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days,” Whitfield and Beard gave first hand accounts of what it was like spending damn near their every waking hour with their boss, Michael, for the last two and a half years of his life – from Dec. 2006 to his last breathe in June 2009.

Apparently, there was some major drama that went down one day when MJ was home and Randy unexpectedly showed up to Neverland, almost getting sprayed with bullets by Whitfield! See what happened below…

Why MJ’s Bodyguards Almost Shot Randy

According to Whitfield and Beard, MJ had gotten to a point where he grew tired of some family members frustrating him. So he started making everyone, except Mama Katherine, make an appointment to see him…and apparently some of them didn’t appreciate having to do so.  Therefore, Randy decided to take his disapproval for MJ’s new visitation rule into his own hands one day and he almost ended up getting shot over it. Whitfield: I came between [Randy’s car] and the house, drew my pistol and took aim at the driver. I had the laser sight right on his chest and the only thing running through my mind was, ‘Whoever this is, they’re about to get shot.’ The driver ducked down and out the corner of my eye I saw this woman in the passenger seat. That threw me. I wasn’t expecting to see a woman. Then the driver lifted his head up and I saw who it was and I froze. ‘Holy sh*t, I thought. That’s his brother. That’s Randy Jackson.’

Beard:“He started screaming, cussing his brains out, rapping all this stuff about money he’s owed and how he’s not leaving without it. ‘Michael owe me money! I want my fu*kin’ money! I ain’t fu*kin’ moving till I get my fu*kin’ money!'”

Whitfield: “I didn’t care what he wanted. I just wanted him outside the gate. I put my pistol away, trying to cool things down. I asked him to exit his vehicle so we could talk in a civilized manner. He refused. He just sat there in the car, threatening to call the press if he didn’t get to see his brother. I didn’t want him to call the press, and I couldn’t call the cops because that would just bring the press too. I was stuck. I had this angry little asshole cussing in my face, and I couldn’t do anything about it.”

After The Fiasco, MJ Canceled His Party Plans

Michael was so fed up with Randy’s drama outside his front gate, that he didn’t even attend his good friend, Elizabeth Taylor’s, 75th birthday party later that evening, which he’d been planning for all week. Beard and Whitfield said MJ was really excited about surprising Taylor at her party and that they hadn’t seen MJ that excited in a long time. However, by the time Joe Jackson was able to finally get Randy to leave, Michael was like, ‘forget it,’ and went to sleep instead.

Randy is something else, ain’t he?!! We all know money can make folks do something strange for some change, but what in the world was he thinking crashing into the gate like that? He’s lucky the bodyguards didn’t shoot first and ask questions later.

By the way, this isn’t Randy’s first time showing up unexpected at a celeb’s home, he did it on another occasion and ended up actually getting shot for real!

As is widely known, Katherine and Joe Jackson’s nine children have married and had kids of their own with many people by now. In fact, some of the Jackson children’s children have kids now. But many fans were not aware that two Jackson brothers have children with the same woman. For those who don’t know, Randy and Jermaine Jackson both have children with Alejandra Oaziaza-Jackson.

Randy, whose birth name is Steven Randall Jackson,  actually dated the Colombian model first. The two met in 1986 when Alejandra was just 17-years-old and although they never tied the knot, they did have two children together – Genevieve and son, Steven, Jr. By now, everyone has seen The Jacksons: An American Dream.

So, you probably remember Randy didn’t start touring with his brothers until he was older. By that time, the Jacksons were well established. According to The New York Post, Alejandra shared details about her relationship with Randy.

“He didn’t treat me like he wanted a family with me at all,” Alejandra is quoted as saying of Randy.

Alejandra On Why She Wanted Jermaine After Randy

Randy reportedly ran off and married another woman while Alejandra was 7-months pregnant. While away on tour, Jermaine made his move. “Jermaine wanted a family and that’s what I always wanted for my kids and he was a father for my kids,” Alejandra reportedly confessed.

Katherine Jackson Was Pissed, Says Family Friend

Alejandra’s relationship with Jermaine actually led to marriage; a union the Jackson family wasn’t too thrilled about, apparently. In fact, most of the fam’ — namely Mama Katherine — wasn’t pleased one bit, according to Alejandra reportedly told the Jackson’s longtime friend, Stacey Brown:

“I remember when we got married and I told Mrs. Jackson. I went into her room and told her with Jermaine on the phone, he was in Africa at that time, and it was very difficult for her,” Stacey Brown recalled Alejandra revealing.

Alejandra and Jermaine went on to have three children – Jermajesty, Donte, and Jaafar.

Friend Says Randy Jackson Was  Highly Pissed With Jermaine

According to Stacey — a male Jackson family friend for over 25 years/co-writer of the Jackson memoirs — there was a lot of tension between Randy and Jermaine. Although Randy moved on with his life, that didn’t mean he was happy for his brother, he was absolutely pissed about their relationship, so says Stacey to the NYPost:  “Joe Blow down the street, but my brother? In the same house?” […] “She’s a pig and my brother is a fool,” Stacey recalled Randy saying about Jermaine and Alejandra’s hook-up.

But, Stacey said Jermaine had one brother who was supportive – Michael. “Jermaine told me that Michael had called him at that time and told him, ‘Are you in love with her?’ And he said, ‘Yes, I am really in love with her.’ He [Michael] goes, ‘Then congratulations.’”

As a result of the relationship, Randy allegedly refused to pay child support for his kids back then. Since Jermaine stepped in, he felt it should have been his responsibility, but Jermaine felt otherwise, according to Brown. In a nutshell, Jermaine felt his brother needed to just get over it. “He’s an a-hole,” Jermaine reportedly said of Randy. “He shouldn’t let his feelings for me or Alejandra come between taking care of his kids.

Stacey Brown: “He needs to get over it and leave all the petty stuff behind and act like a man,” Jermaine said to me. This conversation lasted more than four hours and I had to reason with him that, “You not only took his woman, but you had children with her and you married her. There’s nothing petty about that.”

So who knew that Randy Jackson & Michael Jackson had beef that almost got Randy shot?!! Well, according to MJ’s former bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard, things used to sometimes get out of hand at Michael Jackson’s ‘Neverland Ranch’ with “vultures” – as MJ referred to certain folks – as well as with a few of his family members. In particular, Whitfield and Beard told a very detailed story about MJ’s baby brother, Randy, once causing ruckus at MJ’s home. In their book, “Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days,” Whitfield and Beard gave first hand accounts of what it was like spending damn near their every waking hour with their boss, Michael, for the last two and a half years of his life – from Dec. 2006 to his last breathe in June 2009.

Apparently, there was some major drama that went down one day when MJ was home and Randy unexpectedly showed up to Neverland, almost getting sprayed with bullets by Whitfield! See what happened below…

Why MJ’s Bodyguards Almost Shot Randy

According to Whitfield and Beard, MJ had gotten to a point where he grew tired of some family members frustrating him. So he started making everyone, except Mama Katherine, make an appointment to see him…and apparently some of them didn’t appreciate having to do so.  Therefore, Randy decided to take his disapproval for MJ’s new visitation rule into his own hands one day and he almost ended up getting shot over it. Check out what Whitfield and Beard explained about that whole incident:

Whitfield: I came between [Randy’s car] and the house, drew my pistol and took aim at the driver. I had the laser sight right on his chest and the only thing running through my mind was, ‘Whoever this is, they’re about to get shot.’ The driver ducked down and out the corner of my eye I saw this woman in the passenger seat. That threw me. I wasn’t expecting to see a woman. Then the driver lifted his head up and I saw who it was and I froze. ‘Holy sh*t, I thought. That’s his brother. That’s Randy Jackson.’

Beard:“He started screaming, cussing his brains out, rapping all this stuff about money he’s owed and how he’s not leaving without it. ‘Michael owe me money! I want my fu*kin’ money! I ain’t fu*kin’ moving till I get my fu*kin’ money!'”

Whitfield: “I didn’t care what he wanted. I just wanted him outside the gate. I put my pistol away, trying to cool things down. I asked him to exit his vehicle so we could talk in a civilized manner. He refused. He just sat there in the car, threatening to call the press if he didn’t get to see his brother. I didn’t want him to call the press, and I couldn’t call the cops because that would just bring the press too. I was stuck. I had this angry little asshole cussing in my face, and I couldn’t do anything about it.”

After The Fiasco, MJ Canceled His Party Plans

Michael was so fed up with Randy’s drama outside his front gate, that he didn’t even attend his good friend, Elizabeth Taylor’s, 75th birthday party later that evening, which he’d been planning for all week. Beard and Whitfield said MJ was really excited about surprising Taylor at her party and that they hadn’t seen MJ that excited in a long time. However, by the time Joe Jackson was able to finally get Randy to leave, Michael was like, ‘forget it,’ and went to sleep instead.

By the way, this isn’t Randy’s first time showing up unexpected at a celeb’s home, he did it on another occasion and ended up actually getting shot for real!

I’m not sure if Randy and MJ ever made up, or if Randy ever got the money he said MJ owed him, but at the end of it all, they were still blood and although we’ve heard many wild stories about the Jackson fam,’ one thing we have probably all witnessed at some point or another, is that they have always found a way to stick together through thick and thin. Hopefully they reconciled prior to Michael’s 2009 passing.
