Actor, Samuel Jackson, once did something to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s father that will probably leave many shocked and many others impressed by his actions. It all went down in 1969, the same year that Jackson enrolled in the infamous Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.

On the hills of MLK Jr.’s assassination in 1968, Jackson, along with some of his fellow Morehouse students, became outraged, by not only Dr. King’s assassination, but also with the complacency of life and injustices for minorities in America overall. So they did what they knew how to do at that time and they took action in a MAJOR way, which costs Samuel Jackson his college enrollment.

Martin Luther King. Sr was on the Board of Trustees at Morehouse College during the time Jackson was attending the school. After MLK Jr.’s assassination, Jackson, like many other African Americans during that era, began to become more radicalized in his way of dealing with injustices. So when Jackson and a other Morehouse students determined they needed a better educational curriculum and more minorities on the school’s governing body, they decided to protest. How so? By LOCKING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IN A MOREHOUSE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING (MARTIN LUTHER KING, SR. INCLUDED) FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS UNTIL THEY GOT RESULTS. And guess what? It worked.

After the protest, Morehouse actually listened to Samuel Jackson and the other students. The school improved their curriculum and included more African Americans in their governing body. The only problem was that Jackson was suspended from Morehouse for two years for being one of the leaders of that protest and locking the members in the building. He was convicted of unlawful confinement, which is a second degree felony. Some of the other students who were with him didn’t get suspended, nor charged though.

SO HOW DID IT REACH THAT POINT FOR SAMUEL JACKSON?

After Dr. King Jr. was assassinated in 1968, his body was brought to lie in state at Spelman College, predominantly African American all-female college that sits adjacent to Morehouse. Samuel Jackson was actually an usher at Dr. King’s funeral. Shortly after the funeral, Jackson flew to Memphis to join an equal rights protest march and that’s where he says he became more pro-active and radicalized. “I was angry about the assassination, but I wasn’t shocked by it. I knew that change was going to take something different – not sit-ins, not peaceful coexistence,” Jackson stated that in a Parade Magazine interview regarding his reaction to MLK, Jr.’s death. In other words, he got tired of holding hands and simply singing for justice, he wanted more results.

Jackson begin to find ways to fight back for equal rights and soon after that, he not only formed that Morehouse lockdown/protest, he also caught the attention of the FBI (which scared the daylights out of his beloved Mother) after joining forces with others in the Black Power movement like Stokely Carmichael, H. Rap Brown:

“I was in that radical faction,” Jackson told Parade. “We were buying guns, getting ready for armed struggle. ‘All of a sudden,’ he said proudly, ‘I felt I had a voice. I was somebody. I could make a difference. ‘But then one day,’ he added quietly, ‘my mom showed up and put me on a plane to L.A. She said, ‘Do not come back to Atlanta.’ The FBI had been to the house and told her that if I didn’t get out of Atlanta, there was a good possibility I’d be dead within a year. She freaked out.’”

Two years after the Morehouse protest, Jackson was able to return to Morehouse College and re-enroll as a drama major and he graduated in 1972. He said “I decided that theater would now be my politics. It could engage people and affect the way they think. It might even change some minds.”

Now that we know how proactive Samuel Jackson was as a young man, it all makes sense with who we know him to be as a man now. He’s is a refreshing voice in a world of oftentimes fake, re-programmed, politically correct, unrealistic Hollywood actors. Jackson’s not an entertainer who will conform just to make his naysayers comfortable, and we can’t do anything but respect that.

Trump must’ve been heavy on Jackson’s mind on Wednesday. After watching Donald side with Russia’s president,  Vladimir Putin, Samuel was up in the wee hours of the morning letting his Twitter fingers go to work.

While I had a great meeting with NATO, raising vast amounts of money, I had an even better meeting with Vladimir Putin of Russia. Sadly, it is not being reported that way – the Fake News is going Crazy!

At approximately 3:25 a.m., on July 17, the “Pulp Fiction” star took to Twitter to vent about Trump’s denouncement of U.S. intelligence findings, concerning Russian meddling. Jackson mentions as follows:

“There’s nothing clever or snarky to say that would salve the wound Patriotism took yesterday!! THIS MUTHAF**KER’S GOT TO GO!!”

According to Jackson’s Twitter, he continued his thoughts in another post.

“That MUTHAF**KER wants to see a server,” Jackson exclaims. “We wanna see some F**KYN TAX RETURNS!! Trade ya!!”

Former CIA director, John O. Brennan, mentioned that Trump has far surpassed anything former presidents could’ve ever dreamed of getting away with amid their terms in office.

“Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

To this, Samuel Jackson’s fellow “Avengers” co-star, Don Cheadle, chimed in on the convo,’ regarding Trump and his supporters.

“Their masks have been fully removed. they’re not now nor ever were patriots,” Cheadle commented via Twitter.

Matter of fact, if you take a look at Don Cheadle’s Twitter page, you’ll see he’s very-well stoked in political perspective; and he’s definitely letting his voice be heard.

By the Constitution, Trump’s actions are treasonous. It’s like filmmaker Rob Reiner says, the U.S. is under attack:

So, in typical Trump fashion — as it’s documented how he tends to backtrack when majority of the public doesn’t agree with him — Donald is now “correcting” what everyone else must’ve ‘misheard.’

According to CBS News, Trump mentioned as follows:

“I will begin by stating that I have full faith and support for America’s great intelligence agencies, I always have. And I have felt very strongly that, while Russia’s actions had no impact at all on the outcome of the election, let me be totally clear in saying that, and I have said this many times, I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election took place. It could be other people, also. There are lots of people out there.”

Meanwhile, Samuel Jackson visited “The Ellen Degeneres Show” on Wednesday (6-6-2018) and had everybody crackin’ up when he revealed that the “Black Panther” producers refused to let him see any parts of ‘Wakanda’…LOL. In the video above, Jackson hilariously explained to Degeneres, that he wanted his Marvel Comics character, “Nick Fury,” to appear in the film, but “Panthers” producers just weren’t tryin’ to hear that:

SJ: “When they were making it, I kept saying, ‘So when do I go to Wakanda?’ And they were [shakes head],” he explained, adding that his Marvel character, Nick Fury, seemed like a perfect fit for the movie. “Can I just walk down the street in Wakanda so they know that I know it’s there? Because I know it’s there. I mean, Nick Fury knows every black thing that’s on the planet, so he’s gotta know about Wakanda.”

Nonetheless, Jackson is out here still on his grind at 69 years young. He’s the HIGHEST GROSSING ACTOR of ALL time and he’s still going! He also took to Instagram to let fans know that he’ll be back on the big screen for “Incredibles 2,” voicing the animated character, “Frozone.” The hit kid’s film will be in theaters on June 15, 2018. Samuel Jackson’s tweet has been retweeted more than 262K times thus far.

Jackson called Trump a “muthaf*kka” because, like many, he thinks Trump’s recent proposal to arm teachers, is a horrible idea that can go terribly wrong in a school setting. Trump first introduced that idea during his “listening session” with the survivors of the tragic Valentine Day massacre of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla..

Since then, Trump has pointed out several reasons why he believes that arming teachers with guns would be a great idea. Some of his reasons include that teachers have a closer bond with their students and may be more willing to protect them, before a school security officer would. Trump stated that after it was revealed that the school’s armed security officer was present during the massacre at Douglas high school, but chose to remain outside of the building as 17 kids and staff were brutally murdered by Nikolas Cruz (19).

Trump also tweeted:

@realDonaldTrump: Armed Educators (and trusted people who work within a school) love our students and will protect them. Very smart people. Must be firearms adept & have annual training. Should get yearly bonus. Shootings will not happen again – a big & very inexpensive deterrent. Up to States.

Although Trump is pushing for armed teachers, he is getting called out, by millions of people, for recently condoning the reversal of a stricter gun law President Obama put into place, which made it much tougher for people to obtain guns, including mentally disturbed individuals. Thus far, Trump has only stated that the armed teachers proposal should be “up to the states” to decide and loosely hinted that he may up the minimum age of gun ownership requirements.

Many people are with Samuel Jackson on this one and have spoken out against Trump’s armed teachers proposal.

The president of the National Education Association, Lily Eskelsen García, told Education Week that greater solutions are what’s needed to “keep guns out of the hands of those who want to use them to massacre innocent children and educators. … Arming teachers does nothing to prevent that.”

Then there are many others, who feel the opposite, including anti-Trump advocate, rapper Killer Mike. Mike feels that being armed, is a right that everyone- in particular, Black people- should condone, because if not, the enemy will certainly have even more of an upper hand than they do already. I must admit that I’m conflicted about the idea of arming teachers with guns. Just like any other parent, we want our most precious gifts -our children- protected at all times, including when their in the supposedly gun-free zone schools. Therefore, training willing teachers -who wish to do just that- on how to properly defend themselves and our babies from mass murderers sounds like a winning plan to me. HOWEVER, as Samuel Jackson pointed out, there are so many “flaws” in that plan that could go tragically wrong at any given moment. Like Robert Conroy (the organizer of CeaseFire PA, a gun-control group) pointed out:

“Almost any two students could figure out a way to get a gun away from a teacher; one distracts them and the other sneaks or wrestles the gun off of them. The current proposal to arm teachers in Pennsylvania included no restrictions on how guns were to be stored on-campus, whether teachers would keep them holstered, in their desks or in gun safes,” he said.

(Video) Airport Disaster

A major fiasco went down at LAX airport on Saturday, after cops had to apprehend a violent suspect, claiming that Samuel Jackson is his uncle. At this point, it’s unclear if the man is, or is not, Mr. Jackson’s relative, but regardless of who he is, it’s a good thing he was caught. Check out the details and video of this disaster below…

Via TMZ: Samuel L. Jackson’s name was invoked during a crazy arrest at LAX this weekend, where cops say weapons were found on a guy claiming SLJ’s his uncle. An unidentified man got busted at the airport Sunday for carrying what police say were multiple weapons, including knives, a long piece of rebar and a handful of tools. During the arrest, you can hear him say, “My uncle’s Samuel Jackson. Samuel L. Jackson!” … Law enforcement sources tell us police were alerted to a suspicious man hanging around the airport with a bow and arrow. When cops approached, we’re told he booked it which set off a brief chase … which ended when cops tazed him and took him down. The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance, apparently having suffered injuries during the arrest.

We can only imagine that Samuel Jackson is somewhere looking at his “nephew” wannabe like this…

Despite his name recently getting tossed into the fire by some special individual at LAX, Samuel Jackson is out here making major moves and further expanding his legacy as a legendary actor. It was recently reported by TheHollywoodReporter, that Jackson has officially earned the title of ‘the highest grossing actor of ALL time!’

Via THR: According to the Guinness Book of World Records, his films have made more than $7.4 billion. Samuel L. Jackson’s movies have made more than $7.4 billion — making him the highest-grossing actor of all time, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

From a little kid raised by his mother in the small town of Chattanooga, Tennessee; to a Morehouse College graduate; to overcoming drug addiction in the 1980’s; to becoming on of the most profound and realist entertainers of all time. That is a beautiful life indeed and we look forward to seeing what else Samuel Leroy Jackson has in store for us at 68 years young. Now, as far as that so called “nephew” of his, dude needs help and hopefully he gets some soon.

Remember when we told y’all that they, along with their wives, family, and friends, were vacationing for the past few weeks on a $680K per week yacht in celebration of Magic’s birthday? Also, remember that time when a TV reporter mistook Samuel Jackson for Laurence Fishburne and he had to check him?

Well combine those two memories and that’s pretty much what has just happened to Jackson and Johnson…except what they were mistaken for was far worse than the legendary Laurence Fishburne.

The Shopping Spree That Started It All

While vacationing in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, Italy, the two friends took a photo of themselves chillin’ in chairs, next to their Prada and Louis Vuitton shopping bags, after a shopping trip. Johnson posted the photo on Twitter, captioning it: “Sam and I chilling out on a bench yesterday in Forte dei Marmi, Italy. The fans started lining up to take pictures with us.” Although that sounds innocent enough, that is where all HELL broke loose across the internet.

The Italian Meme

In what he referred to as a social experiment, comic, Luca Bottura, created a meme from the photo of Jackson and Johnson with this caption: “Boldrini’s resources in Forte dei Marmi shop at Prada with our €35 [dollars]. Share this picture if you are outraged.”

According to TheIndependent.co.uk, Luca’s meme ‘was a reference to Laura Boldrini, President of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy, who has drawn fierce criticism for her progressive open migration policy.’

Turns out, thousands of Italy’s citizens came across Luca’s meme of Jackson and Johnson and did not know who neither one of them were. But they did notice, however, the expensive shopping bags surrounding the superstars in the photo. So what did the oblivious Italian citizens do next? They responded with some of the most racially profiled comments Samuel Jackson and Magic Johnson have ever been the topic of.

‘Lazy Immigrants On Welfare?’

The Italian citizens mistook Jackson and Johnson as two “lazy immigrants” who abuse Italy’s system by spending all of Italy’s tax payers’ dollars (because of course they’re on welfare) on expensive items they cannot afford. The Italians then proceeded to bash them in droves all over social media. What in the HELL?!!

One commenter posted: ”Nina Moric is right and this is shameful … I am not racist, but I know there are people who really do not have money, while these wear branded clothes and relax.”

Another one wrote: “Immigration is crushing us.”

Other’s went on to state how they were ‘disgusted’ by seeing such lazy immigrants taking over their country.

Soon after the meme went viral, the comic responded with this on Facebook:

“The meme has been shared thousands of times and 40 per cent of people understood the provocation, 30 per cent were outraged and 20 per cent thought it was a racist meme and that I had failed to recognize Samuel Jackson and Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson, (I will not reveal the 10 per cent).”

Now it’s probably safe to assume that the thousands of Italian citizens, who were angered, are walking around with their faces cracked, after learning that the “two lazy immigrants” in the meme have enough wealth to buy several whole islands in the very country they were accused of taking advantage of with their expensive shopping sprees. Ah well…we live and we learn I suppose.

Magic’s reportedly spending almost $680,000 per week on a yacht rental from the luxury yacht company, Siren.

So, therefore, based on my estimations, Magic has spent about $1.75 MILLION so far for his exotic sea getaway! Laaaawd…he better make sure every last one of his guests are partying it up on that yacht EVERYday, so he can get his money’s worth.

Now, being that Magic’s a smart man, I’m pretty sure he’ll be able to write off at least some of that yacht expense come tax season, because for businessman with many successful business ventures in operation, like Magic’s, it’s probably safe to assume he’ll utilize some of his yacht time to conduct business.
