Shemar Moore has been one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors since his early days on The Young & The Restless back in the 1990’s. Many women still fall under his spell, and although he’s never had any issues with bagging any lady he chooses, he’s never been married nor had any kids. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however some people have questioned his sexuality in the past because of his 24 hour bachelor lifestyle. A recent night out in Miami, though, may prove to be the biggest evidence as to why Shemar continues to keep his ring finger bare.

Setting The Record Straight

Shemar Moore is an OG in Hollywood, having first burst onto the scene in the role of “Malcolm Winters” on CBS daytime staple The Young & The Restless. And as soon as he appeared on the show, ladies took notice. He’s even been linked to many famous Black actresses, like Kimberly Elise, Halle Berry, and his Y&R co-star, Victoria Rowell. He even had a relationship with legendary singer, Toni Braxton, appearing in the video for her hit single “How Many Ways.”

Although Shemar is reportedly still dating actress, Anabelle Acosta, people are still questioning his sexuality. Last month we reported about an Instagram user trolling him about this very topic, after he posted a motivational photo of his fitness progress. When she commented that Shemar was trying too hard and that it was OK if he was gay, Shemar’s clap-back got really real:

To this, Shemar Moore responded, “Introduce me to your man. … So I can turn him DOWN and turn YOU… OUT!!!” Shemar expressed. “Keep playing with me… I’m READY!!!!”

Shemar Moore isn’t sitting by and taking “gay” jokes lightly any longer. When a woman comes at him sideways, recently, the actor/model lets her have it.

It seems that people haven’t exactly dissolved the rumors surrounding Shemar Moore and “homosexuality.” If you didn’t know, Moore was — in the past — spotted inside an LGBTQ night club with friends, as notes Z-107.9.

So, he addressed those rumors several times over. Yet, they still linger.

In a recent Instagram post, Shemar Moore simply gives a motivational post, showing off his gym results.

“THIS IS NOT A GAME!!!!!!” Moore announces. “I (am 49) and am getting my 33 year old body BACK…. by busting my whole entire a** in the gym, lifting weights, running, stairs, hiking, cycling, boxing, swimming, massages, dieting, SLEEPING!!!!”

Shemar’s dad, Sherrod Moore, is African American and his mother, Marilyn Wilson, is Irish and French-Canadian. So like many multi-racial children, Shemar had trouble finding where he belonged. But he also had trouble with his ex-con Pops, the effects of which still lingers to this day.

Shemar Moore is very close to his mother, but in an interview with Larry King, he revealed that his dad, Sherrod, was locked up in San Quentin prison for a while and it had everything to do with his mom. Although he didn’t go into precise detail of what went down, it seems like his dad obviously did some type of serious harm to his mother to have landed him in prison for years. It’s also clearly evident that Shemar still has love for his dad, but he’s still very emotional and pissed off by his past actions, and rightfully so. Check out the clip below…

Just goes to show that you never know what celebs are going through, but one thing’s for certain, they usually are going through/or have gone through the same life struggles as the rest of us.

Hopefully mama Marilyn has found peace with her past life with Shemar’s dad, and hopefully Sherrod Moore has found true remorse and reform in his life as well. On Dating Phaedra: ‘Phaedra Who?’

After recent kissy-face photos and a flirty interview on Watch What Happens Live aired with Shemar and Phaedra getting “closer than close” like Teddy P., everybody assumed they are now dating.

Prior to now, Shemar addressed the dating rumors. In his new video rant though, he started off by saying his message is for “everybody else out there talking sh*t about me, here we go…” Then he jumped right into the illusions that Phaedra gave on IG, and also the illusion they both displayed on WWHL. Basically, it was just that- an illusion- at least according to Shemar:

“Phaedra Parks, met her one time at the talk show a year ago. Flirted with, her drank with her, kissed on her at the talk show…ain’t dating somebody I don’t know…don’t watch reality TV.”

And BOOM there it is, on to the next..

On The Gay Rumors

It’s no secret that for years now, people have questioned the brotha’s sexuality, due the lack of a woman on his arm. The thing that many failed to realize is that he has in fact, been spotted with many women throughout the years. Take for example, his celebrity exes, Toni Braxton and Halle Berry…

“‘Shemar Moore’s gay, he’s bi, he’s in the closet, he likes lil boys’…No, I love women.”

On ‘Only’ Dating White Women

Shemar is biracial -African American and Caucasian- however, he oftentimes gets called out by some who think he only dates White women. And as you can imagine, he had something to say about that too:

“‘He don’t like Black women’…No, I love ALL women. ‘He likes skinny White girls’…No I like all women, all different shapes and sizes and colors.”

“Look at Shemar Moore with his gay ass…”

That’s what Shemar Moore is tired of. He posted the picture below of a good friend while in Toronto. He explained that they were arguing about him being strong enough to pick him up, so he did and they took this picture of him and one of his good friends having a great time. But Shemar was just fed up with the constant gay comments, and haters, so he posted a pretty solid video about how he’s going to keep enjoying life and he won’t let the haters stop him.

Former “Soul Train” host and ex “Young and the Restless” actor, Shemar Moore, has finally decided to address the people who have been consistently throwing rumors and insults his way on social media.

Shemar finally got fed up with his haters taking jabs at him for being light skin and spreading gay rumors about him. He took to his Instagram page to set the record straight and let folks know that his is NOT gay at all and that his light skin should not be seen as a weakness, but rather as something familiar to them being that the President is his same skin complexion.
