Snoop Dogg’s son is grown and looking just like him these days — and seems to be doing quite well for himself. But here’s what he thinks of his dad now…

At the time Snoop’s family secret first made headlines, his son — Julian Corrie Broadus — was only 9 years old, according to Deez Gossip.

The source says Julian’s mother was one of Snoop’s old flames from high school, Laurie Holmond. Anyway, Julian first came forth on Snoop’s reality show, Father Hood.

For this, Snoop was forced to stand in the light, after Julian and his mom gave details to Star magazine, according to the source. Specifically, they focused on Snoop’s lack of participation in Julian’s life.

After the publication obtained paternity tests proving Snoop was, indeed, Julian’s father, the truth was out. According to Laurie, they hooked up at the La Reve Hotel in Hollywood. And even then, when she told him she was pregnant with Julian, he mentioned not knowing how to tell Shante.

Nevertheless, “when Julian was born, Calvin was right there, and he took responsibility like a man,” Laurie told the source.

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA — A legend in the rap game, Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus, Jr. is set to have his name chiseled into the famous sidewalk of American entertainment history.

According to Variety, Snoop will be honored on Monday, November 19, by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony will take place on the Hollywood Boulevard strip, and he’ll receive the 2,651^st star to be awarded by the city.

While his award category is for “Recording,” Snoop Dogg is valued for his all-around, life-long accomplishments — including those outside of the entertainment industry, itself.

For instance, Ana Martinez — producer for the Hollywood Walk of Fame — states the following regarding the honoree:

“Snoop Dogg is one of those people who can do anything. He raps, he acts, he hosts a television show, he cooks, and helps community kids with his philanthropic work. He is a man of the ages, and we welcome him to our Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

According to the Walk of Fame‘s official website, Jimmy Kimmel will be on-site to help honor the famed star — along with Leron Gubler (president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce), Dr. Dre, and Quincy Jones.

The official source also notes that Snoop’s wife, Shante Broadus, and family will be among honored guests.

Not only is Snoop Dogg getting his star on the Walk of Fame, but he’s also celebrating the 25^th anniversary of his debut, classic album, Doggystyle. Originally, this album released in November 1993.
