In 2002, it seemed Wendy was well on her way to the “happily ever after” fairytale ending most women dream about. She was engaged to Sherman Galbreath when tragedy struck while they were on vacation in the Virgin Islands. Wendy was teaching Sherman to swim when things took an unexpected turn for the worst and Sherman drowned. According to The Virgin Islands Daily News, the detailed circumstances surrounding Sherman’s passing remain unclear, but the accident reportedly occurred while he was learning to swim.

We all know Oprah and her man, Stedman, go way back like hot combs and hair grease, but what doesn’t go way back for them is their history of opening up about their relationship, especially their sex life.
