If you know anything about the talk show The View, you know that it is made up of five outspoken personalities. But if y’all know anything about one of those personalities- comedian/acting legend, Whoopi Goldberg- then you know when it gets down to it, she is the head honcho of the panel and will only tolerate but so much BS.

That widely known fact, came to head once again when co-host, Joy Behar, had to school the most un-liked View co-host, Meghan McCain, and Whoopi had to jump in.

You see, Joy oftentimes finds herself having to go at it with Meghan, live on air, because it is evident that the Democrat (Behar) vs. the conservative Republican (McCain) have a nice-nasty work relationship. The ladies often clash over Trump and other politically related topics on the show.

Well, on Monday (April 8) morning, Meghan disrespected the HELL outta Joy, who looked like she wanted to slap the taste outta her mouth as a result. That’s when Whoopi had to step in and now she’s a trending topic all over social media…

Lately a lot of people have been talking about the drama behind the scenes on the hit television talk show The View. Well now Sherri Shepherd’s has opened up about her experience on the show.

The book grants readers an in-depth look into the ABC Morning Show for more than two decades. Showcased are all of the alleged wild antics, and show-stopping feuds that have assimilated over the past 20 years.

Although the comedian and actress was targeted in the intense book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive inside Story of ‘The View,’” she told Entertainment Tonight that she is thankful for her nearly nine years on the show. Even though it was not all positive.

As we previously reported, the 21 year old Kardashian sibling, Kendall, joined Pepsi to create a new ‘protest’ commercial, with a ‘we are the world’ vibe to it, that ended up offending many on all sides of the multicultural map of America. The reason was because in Pepsi’s effort to not offend anyone in their protest commercial, they downplayed the messages of everyone who have vested, passionate interests in an array of societal issues- whether it is the Black Lives Matter movement, Women’s Rights movement, Pro-Trump movement, Anti- Trump movement, Blue Lives Matter, LGBT rights, and so on.

Pepsi’s Apology

After the major online backlash Pepsi got spooked and yanked the commercial within about 24 hours after it’s released, issuing an apology to the public and Kendall Jenner:

“Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. […] “We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

Whoopi & Co-Hosts Debate Who’s To Blame?

Whoopi and the other View co-hosts weighed in on the topic. Some felt that Kendall should have known better than to participate in that commercial, because although she’s 21, she has a enough experience in her heavily marketed family to know better.

Whoopi hated the Pepsi commercial as well. However, she felt that Kendall’s team should be blamed, but not Kendall because she’s just getting her feet wet in entertainment and doesn’t fully understand everything her team should already understand. Whoopi also said that she, too, has been in situations where a project looks great on a storyboard, during a boardroom presentation, but the final product is a disaster.

After further debate, Whoopi got tired of one of her co-hosts saying the commercial was a representation of cultural appropriation. Not that Whoopi didn’t agree that the Pepsi commercial was horrible, but she didn’t like what she sees as selective perception that sometimes comes along with the cultural appropriation conversation in America. Giving an example to prove her point, she referred to the topic of Black women and their hair. Whoopi pointed out that if Black women choose to not wear their natural hair textures and opt for straight, silky hair/weaves that mimic hair textures of other races instead, then that too is a form of cultural appropriation.

“It’s [the Pepsi commercial] just a crappy idea, it didn’t work. [But] this cultural appropriation stuff is really starting to make me crazy. If we’re gonna go with cultural appropriation, wear natural hair. If we’re wearing White lady hair, isn’t that appropriation as well? […] Listen, now, there are some things where you can say ‘Hey, you need to be more sensitive,’ but this ain’t one of them. This is a bad commercial, that didn’t work.”

Via TMZ: Snoop Dogg’s bodyguard had to take down a mourner who was flipping out during actor and comedian Ricky Harris’ funeral. Family and friends — including Snoop and Sherri Shepherd — gathered Tuesday in Long Beach, CA to honor Ricky, who died Dec. 26 … reportedly from a heart attack. Sherri says some guy stood up in the middle of the service and started yelling … until Snoop’s security intervened. Sherri posted a video outside the service and was clearly shaken up after the fight. We’re told police arrived, but all involved parties were gone … so no arrests.

Whoopi Goldberg put some of “The View’s” co-hosts in check the other day, over their statements surrounding Colin Kaepernick’s protest and previous actions that have been taken by African Americans people who speak up about oppression in America.

In the video, three of the co-hosts, Paula Faris; former “Full House” actress, Candace Cameron Bure; and Sarah Haines-  think Kaepernick (who is half Black and White; and also donating $1 million of his money this year to foundations supporting the fight against oppression and injustices against minorities and military veterans) should do his protest in private so the world can’t see it, because they feel that it’s “disrespectful.”

After hearing the other ladies’ stance, even co-host, Joy Behar, had to step in and deliver some good ol’ fashion wisdom to the other three hosts who didn’t agree with Kaepernick’s usage of his American right to stand, sit, or kneel during the national anthem.

But the check session Whoopi dished out, was done with much poise and grace, yet still potent. Check it out below…
