Many of you know that Tina has adamantly defended her vote for and continued support of Donald Trump, even after all of the divisiveness he’s displayed during his presidency thus far. When questioned about it by her fans, Tina defiantly stood by her Trump support and pretty much says whoever doesn’t like it, to hell with ’em (not in those exact words of course). Tina had to ultimately post a lengthy message online to try to save face and explain the cancellation and that they will shoot for a reboot of the tour in 2018. Fans were happy, not about the reboot, but that the tour was cancelled due to Tina’s support of a man who’s said some White supremacists ‘are good people’ and that he randomly ‘grabs women by the p*ssy.’

Tina Campbell has been getting slammed left and right lately. Ever since the Mary Mary singer revealed she supported Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, fans have been giving her the side-eye. Then after she explained her support of Trump, she put the nail in the political coffin when she admitted she voted for him. Of course, fans wasted no time dragging Tina yet again. But in addition to the social media drag session, it looks like fans are hitting Tina where it hurts – her pockets. According to Essence, the famed gospel singer is canceling her tour for a very disheartening reason.

Lack Of Interest?:

The It’s Still Personal tour was scheduled to kick off in November but apparently, Tina Campbell is pumping the breaks. On Tuesday, October 24, Tina took to Instagram with an announcement about the tour. Apparently, she’s canceling due to low ticket sales.

She shared a photo of herself along with a lengthy statement announcing the cancellation. However, she insists the recent cancellation is more of a “postponement” as she hopes to hit the road in the Spring of 2018. “I’d like to say thank you to all who have purchased tickets for the It’s Still Personal Tour,” she said in an Instagram post. “Our hope is that all who have attended, have been thoroughly blessed. We are grateful for those who were planning to attend but our overall ticket sales haven’t shown that we have the support that we need to continue the tour at this time.”

Tina added, “We’re convince that many more would love the opportunity to attend this praise-filled, faith filled, entertaining, worship experience, so we have decided to give ourselves time to reach all of those people and bring this amazing tour back in the spring of 2018.”  *In other words, translation: What that statement probably means is the Mary Mary singers are gonna wait until 2018 to see if Tina’s ‘Trump train’ drama fizzles out and hopefully fans forget she ever decided to support him.*  Hmmm…

When All Hell Broke Loose:

Tina Campbell’s tour cancellation follows heightened backlash over her public support of Donald Trump. Despite all of the controversial things he’s done, along with his not-so-subliminal disapproval of African Americans, Tina Campbell admitted she voted for him and she even revealed she prays for him. Of course, Tina’s Christian fanbase consists of people who love God and treat people with respect, but many still cannot fathom how she could support someone who has made his sentiments of minorities very clear. But despite all of that, Tina recently shared a different perspective: “This man is not our God, and God has given us instruction for this man, which is to pray for him,” she told Essence Now host Makho Ndlovu.

“So me saying I stand with him means I pray for him, even now. I disagree with almost every decision the man is making but I still pray for him because he took an oath to represent this country. And we can say, ‘He’s not my president.’ But he’s still the president of America and God gave us a responsibility to pray for him.”

Unfortunately for Mary Mary, most fans obviously don’t agree. Best of luck to Tina Campbell with that though.

Gospel singer of the group, Mary Mary, Tina Campbell, is making headlines yet again. This time she’s speaking out after a man made claims that he had a long standing affair with her husband, Glendon Theodore “Teddy” Campbell.

Here’s What Happened:

Popular transgender woman, TS Madison, and Miami female rapper, Khia, have a show called ‘Queens Court,’ where they discuss the latest inside info from someone’s living room. The ladies provide a phone number and anyone is allowed to call in as they go live on Instagram to discuss the latest news in social media. While the ladies were conducting their show, an identified male called in with claims that he had a relationship with a man named Theodore. Initially, the ladies were confused as to who the man was talking about, but then he said the name, ” Teddy.” The man claims that he met Teddy -Tina’s husband- when he was a guitar player for the group, Soul Diggers.

Tina & Teddy Clap Back

As soon as the man’s claims hit the internet, fans and non-fans showered Teddy and Tina’s Instagram page with comments about the man’s claims about Teddy.

After receiving so many comments from people, Teddy and Tina responded to one commenter. Underneath their recent post of Tina singing a gospel-esque version of “This little piggy went to the market,” a fan hopped into the comments and asked her about the gay cheating rumor:

Not The First Cheating Claim

While this is the first time Teddy Campbell has been accused of sleeping with a man, this isn’t the first time that he’s been accused of cheating on his wife, Tina. We were all shocked to find out that Tina’s husband, Teddy, had an affair with one of Tina’s employees, who became a close family friend. Tina, along with her husband, made the shocking revelation on The Steve Harvey talk show.

“The person who it was, she used to work for me, and so, that broke my heart. She was like a godmother to my children, Tina told Steve Harvey. She had access to my home, to come get my kids, and all that kind of stuff. [She] was very intermixed in my family.”

To face the woman she once called a friend, she made Teddy call her so that she could confront her.

She hung up the phone. So I had my answer. It broke my heart, it devastated me, so I spazzed out Tina said on the show. I destroyed three cars, tried to stab and plotted murders and all kind of crazy stuff because I was angry. And I was doing all that like, … ‘Either I’m going to die wrong or live right.’ So we’ve been working on living right.

In a very public way, Tina shared with the world her decision to forgive her husband, Teddy Campbell, for sexual infidelities and they have even renewed their vows. The Basketball Wives star recently posted a new video on Facebook and her latest ‘Bonnet Chronicles’ discussion was about Tina Campbell. Tami is wondering the same thing other people are wondering: What on earth was, and is, Tina thinking?

“I do respect Tina though because she came out and admitted that she voted for the man, because some of y’all voted for him and you don’t want to be honest about it and admit it’s a sinking ship, but she did,” Tami began.

The Figurative ‘Shackles’:

Tami went on to mention the “shackles.” Of course, we all know its the title of a hit song by Mary Mary. However, when it comes to Trump, many of us also know his “Make America Great Again” mission has seemingly become a subliminal reference to some different “shackles”- the ones African American were subjected to during slavery. Each time Trump mentions his infamous slogan, most Black people can’t help but think about what he really means. By “making America great again,” it seems Trump is focusing on re-establishing the slave era’s presumed ‘superiority’ of White citizens.

Every other day, Trump says something to make his sentiments known one way, or another. Therefore, Tami wants to know how on earth did Tina miss those “shackles”? Tami went on to question Tina Campbell’s definition of “Christian” values. Although the gospel singer claims to have voted for Trump ‘because of his Christian values,’ Tami couldn’t help but think of those suffering in Puerto Rico, when Trump turned a deaf ear to their cries.

“How could she miss the shackles, chile? ‘Cause that’s how I feel with Donald Trump in office,” Tami said. “They said she said, ‘She related to his good Christian values.’ But I say, sis, Puerto Rico been sitting in the dark for the past week with no water and no food. What’s God-like and Christian-like about that?”

Tami’s clap back comes days after Tina’s confession. As we previously reported, during a recent chat with The Root, Tina opened up and explained why she’s supporting Trump. “I was faced with two presidential candidates that I really did not approve of,” she said. “And so I had to find something, a commonality with one of them, that would make me feel like if I have to vote, I should utilize my right to vote. Since I don’t prefer either of them, what can I find that would make me vote? And some of Donald Trump’s views on Christianity, honestly, is what caused me to vote for him.”

With the way things are goin’ for Trump, Tina will probably end up having ‘buyer’s remorse,’ just like many other Trump supporters are starting to admit.
