Rapper T.I. and wife/singer, Tiny Harris (of Xscape), are in the midst of a new legal battle. A woman, identified as Jane Doe, has filed a lawsuit accusing the couple of sexual assault. The allegations claim that T.I. and Tiny drugged her at a nightclub and then took her to their hotel room, where they engaged in non-consensual sexual acts. However, T.I. and Tiny vehemently deny these allegations, stating their innocence and expressing their determination to fight the claims in court.

T.I. And Tiny’s Adamant Deny Woman’s Claim, And Claps Back At Allegations

In a statement to TMZ, T.I. and Tiny had this to say:

“On the heels of positivity, negativity always rears its ugly head. This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years. For THREE years, we have emphatically and categorically denied these allegations. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do. For THREE years, we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court.”

The Allegations

According to the lawsuit filed by Jane Doe, the incident allegedly took place in or around 2005, when she was stationed in Los Angeles as a member of the U.S. Air Force. The plaintiff claims that she and a friend attended a party at Coolio’s home, where they met a man named “Caviar,” who was allegedly affiliated with T.I. and Tiny. The lawsuit alleges that T.I. and Tiny initially did not show up at the party but informed Jane Doe that they would be at an L.A. nightclub the following night.

The Nightclub Encounter

The woman states that she met T.I. and Tiny at the nightclub, where they all gathered in the VIP section. She claims to have ordered two Amaretto sours for herself before Tiny allegedly handed her another drink, which she shared with her friend. The lawsuit further alleges that T.I. then proposed that Jane Doe ride with him and Tiny to their destination, while her friend would ride with “Caviar.” However, the events that unfolded did not match the initial plan.

The Hotel Room Incident

Upon leaving the nightclub, the woman asserts that she, T.I., and Tiny ended up in a hotel room. Two other women, whom she did not know, joined them initially, but Tiny allegedly kicked them out due to one of them flirting with T.I. Once alone, the woman claims Tiny took the her to the bathroom, where they undressed. Subsequently, she says T.I. joined them, and they all got into the shower together.

Allegations Of Non-Consensual Acts

According to the court doc, the woman claims she began to feel lightheaded and dizzy, and that T.I. suggested she go to bed. She alleges that while T.I. watched adult videos, he requested that she rub him down with some massage oil. She then claims Tiny walked in and joined them.

The lawsuit alleges T.I. eventually said he was going to grab a condom, but that’s when Jane Doe says she ran to the bathroom and threw up. She claims T.I. joked, “Are you alright? Looks like you in last place.”

She then claims she passed out until the next morning, and that some type of contact was supposedly made with her vaginal area, but that the security guard allegedly told her she had to go, while T.I. and Tiny were still asleep in bed.

What Accuser Is Suing For

Jane Doe is now suing T.I. and Tiny Harris for ‘sexual battery, assault, negligence and false imprisonment.’

Why she’s filing her lawsuit 19 years later? As TMZ reported, “…the plaintiff says she’s filing the suit now due to California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act … which opened a year-long window for the revival of claims where the statute of limitations would have otherwise run.”

As the video began circulating on social media, fans quickly came to the conclusion that Tiny could do better but lots of fans had another big question: who is the mystery woman in the video? During the video, one person noted the obvious saying the woman wasn’t Tiny, but the woman’s familiar face also led to more rumors. Now, her identity has been revealed and you’ll be shocked to see how it all ties in together.

Meet the Mystery Woman?:

In the video, a mystery woman with blonde hair and a large derriere sat by T.I. and he could be seen grabbin’ her behind and nuzzlin’ her neck. Based on the video, it was obvious the greeting was much more than friendly which immediately led fans to believe T.I. was messin’ with the woman. Of course, T.I. and Tiny could still be separated but the video still seems questionable.

T.I. Claps Back:

Now that the incriminating video has gone viral, T.I. is definitely feelin’ some kind of way about the backlash. Yesterday, the “All She Wrote” rapper took to Instagram with a live video explaining how things have quickly changed between him and their children. Just days after Father’s Day, the kids aren’t even tryin’ to hear anything he has to say, according to Straight From The A. While talkin’ to a group of fans in the video, he admitted Major and King “weren’t rocking with him right now.”

But despite the disapproval, T.I. is tired of the drama. In the same video, he offered a subliminal response to the drama. “I don’t give a damn about that gossip y’all talkin’ about. Anytime anybody need me, I’m there.” At the 31-minute mark, T.I. opened up about the recent drama and backlash he’s faced:

Although T.I. appears to be playin’ it cool, fans aren’t letting him live this one down. The video he posted in Epperson’s defense, has taken on a whole new meaning. For fans, the video seems to have been more personal for T.I. than it initially seemed. Was it all about the violation of rights or was he livid because Epperson was involved? Regardless of whatever the truth may be, fans have even taken to those videos with bashing comments. “Wow you are so disrespectful to your wife and family I hope this is not true,” one fan commented on T.I.’s video about Epperson’s incident at Houston’s. Another fan wrote, “So, was you messing with before or after this. I hope Tiny smacked the Greenleaf outta you.”

The latest puzzle pieces are definitely raising eyebrows. Unfortunately, T.I. didn’t exactly deny the accusations either.

Now that their divorce is entering into the final stages, after almost 7 years of marriage (and 15 years total of being together), maybe their fans will finally stop getting the mixed messages they’ve given throughout the past four months. Tiny shared photos of herself, T.I.’s, and baby Heiress’ date night together; video of their Christmas 2016 together; and just about 2 and a half weeks ago, Tiny posted the most shocking mixed message of them all- she blasted T.I.’s alleged mistress and Tiny also revealed that she, herself, had just made love to T.I.- just like old times- in their bed, the night before. But yet, they’re still divorcing, unfortunately.

Xscape singers/reality TV stars, Kandi Burruss and Tomeka ‘Tiny’ Harris, may not have wanted ‘no scrubs’ when they wrote the 1999 TLC hit, but they most certainly want their song credit…and their checks.

“No Scrubs” Is Still Paying Off For Them

The ladies have just gotten some great news by way of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) the other day- they’ve officially been added to the songwriting credits for top selling pop artist, Ed Sheeran’s new #1 single, “Shape of You.” His song has been heating up the Billboard charts at number one for weeks now, but now he has to spread that money around just a tad bit more with Kandi, Tiny, and their fellow “No Scrubs” songwriter,“She’kspere” Briggs.

You see, what had happened was that as Ed’s song became hot, many fans began to point out the similarities between the production and some of the melodies of “Shape of You” versus “No Scrubs.” The fans kept at it for weeks, complaining online about how Ed and his creative team had jacked TLC’s song without giving Kandi and Tiny credit for it on his album. Many fans even went as far as to post “No Scrubs” vs. “Shape Of You” mashups online to get their point across…

Well, social media is a powerful tool as we all know, and to yet again prove just how powerful it is, check out what happened next…

ASCAP Gives Them Songwriting Credit On Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You”

The fans’ persistent online outcry eventually found it’s way to the eyes and ears of the folks over at ASCAP (a major music licensing corporation that’s responsible for paying music creators performance royalties). ASCAP ultimately concluded that the fans have a point and Ed Sheeran’s song is a little too similar to “No Scrubs.” So ASCAP has now officially added Kandi, Tiny, and  Kevin Briggs to the song credit’s listing for Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”

In other words, ‘No Scrubs” has turned out to be the 1999 gift that keeps on giving for Kandi, Tiny and Briggs, because they’re about to get some additional revenue that wasn’t there before. Whenever Ed Sheeran’s #1 song gets played at anytime in the United States- either on radio, television, internet performances and usage, or movies- which for right now, the “No Scrubs” writing trio will get paid a percentage of the performance royalties Ed’s “Shape Of You” earns.

Kandi’s Happy!

Not sure how Ed Sheeran and his team feel about this, but Kandi made it loud and clear how she feels about it…

And there you have it family- record sales might be dying in today’s internet era, but when it comes to collecting performance royalties from a hit record, like Sheeran’s “Shape Of You,” there is still some light financially for the songwriters. Sheeran’s currently burning up the radio, television, live concert venues, and more with that song. Everywhere he plays, coins gotta get paid and therefore Kandy and Tiny have just picked up some extra pocketbook money thanks to ASCAP.

In case y’all didn’t know, this is what their fans have been waiting for, BUT because they were like the female version of New Edition- as far as drama, backstabbing, and fist fights go- they could barely stand to be in the same room with each other for longer than 45 seconds, let alone even think about singing together.

Well, apparently they’re singing a different tune today because they’ve suddenly found a way to let bygones be bygones and will be giving us some REAL female R&B group magic once again.

Kandi told Big Tigger this: “I’m not even gon’ lie to you, watching the New Edition Story, it definitely made me sit and think about our legacy as a group. And you know, we actually decided to have a real conversation and really talk to each other…it’s been at least 18 years [since they did an interview together as a group].”

Geesh! So it looks like the hold out was Kandi, and until she was able to forgive her group members for doing her dirty (not Tiny), it wasn’t happening. See details on that below…

Lawd knows Xscape had enough drama for a biopic of their own (but that’s a whole ‘notha story) and they’ve never received their full just due because of it, in my opinion. They couldn’t stand each other long enough to make that happen.

DON’T BE FOOLED…SEE NEW DIVORCE UPDATES:

As much as we’d LOVE to see T.I. and Tiny remain married, let’s not get it twisted…although their encounters may be filled with warmth, Tiny is far from putting her divorce papers on ice at the Georgia courthouse. In fact, a few days ago Tiny had her lawyer continue to push forward with the divorce proceedings, asking the judge to set a March date for a temporary hearing:

Via Bossip: Lawyers for Tameka “Tiny” Harris filed court docs this week asking for a hearing in March that will establish temporary alimony, child support, child custody, visitation and other immediate matters in the split. The court date will also give TI the opportunity to explain why he thinks the divorce shouldn’t go through or why Tiny shouldn’t get half of their assets.

Now word is out that T.I. missed the Friday, January 6th deadline that would have allowed him to contest any of Tiny’s requests. Therefore, by default Tiny can now be awarded half of everything, as she requested in her original filing.

WHAT DOES THEIR DATE NIGHT MEAN?

So what does that Friday family outing really mean for T.I. and Tiny? Maybe it simply means that after 17 years together, they can’t help but still be each other’s best friend no matter what. Or maybe it means that T.I. is continuing to try to convince Tiny to have a change of heart as was reported recently. Who knows?

However, what we do know is that Tiny’s been T.I.’s ride or die chick since day one- they’ve been arrested together, overcome rumored cheating together, built a beautiful family together, she was with him when she was on top with Xscape and he was an unknown rapper, and so on. Therefore, the perfect song to end this with is Method Man ft. Mary J.- “You’re All I Need To Get By” (shout out to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell for creating that classic) because it looks like T.I. knows that he has (or had) a good woman and no amount of groupie gold diggers will ever replace her. It all started on Thursday when Tiny posted a bare stomach photo of herself (shown above) advertising Flat Tummy Tea as being the reason why her belly’s super flat 5 months after giving birth to she and T.I.’s little baby. Fans were quick to call her bluff and made claims that her abs of steel are the results of a tummy TUCK not tummy TEA.

Like we used to say back in the day, Boo-Yah! Tiny told them! And she also set the record straight that she only had ONE, yes, ONE plastic surgery procedure on her stomach 15 years ago. That still didn’t stop some people from giving her answer the side eye though.
