Singer/actor, Tyrese Gibson, is sick n’ tired of being sick n’ tired, when it comes to what he says he’s been dealing with behind closed doors, as well as in the courtroom with his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell Gibson. This go ’round, he has pulled no shorts with calling Norma out, and the allegations he’s spilling are serious.

In a lengthy online post, Tyrese told it all and even included a link to his Google docs drive for all his fans to read his ongoing 176-page court documents for themselves, which he says are his “receipts” to back up his claims.

Tyrese’s Unleashed Several Major Claims Against Ex-Wife

So, what is he claiming his ex and mother of his daughter, Norma, has been doing to him, you ask? A LOT, including alleged death threats and extortion attempts, says Tyrese.

He first started his statement by addressing the fact that he is done with living in fear of speaking his truths and the backlash that may cause him:

Tyrese- I’ve got nothing to lose but my mind and my reputation… And neither one of these are no longer up for grabs..

I get it, I get it… We are living in the TIMES UP and ME TOO ERA! And as soon as a man goes public about the abuse and trauma inflicted on him by a women we are shamed into silence? I’m past that…Be yourself in my comments! STFU , MAN UP! Stop putting your personal sh*t out there on the timeline…. Be more private?

Did you tell my ex to be more private in 2017 when her accusations rocked my life, my career, my marriage and every opportunity imaginable that was in motion was killed instantly?

After a FULL TRIAL in 2017 with her testifying over 120 LIES was documented UNDER OATH…Did you shame her into silence? No!

Tyrese then accused Norma of having committed several crimes and an alleged court-ordered violation:

Extortion, death threats, blackmail, tax evasion, domestic and international wire fraud, skipping 3 FULL YEARS of tuition of our daughter’s schooL OVER 25k in the rears … 167 pages of the full on court documents [link in bio] …25 years of my life and me being a committed father…. No one will EVER HAVE POWER over my life and career…. Ever…. One thing I don’t do is LIE…. He continued with more claims against Norma, including allegations of check forgery and allegedly neglecting to spend the money he pays her monthly on their daughter:

Imagine that? Setting up bank accounts in your deceased father’s name? Forging his [signature] on checks? …. Imagine giving yo BM 11k a month and she refuse to get your own daughter’s hair and nails done?

Imagine a COURT ORDER that states we’re supposed to be 50\50 on school tuition and she’s missed 3 FULL YEARS of payments? If No f**ks given was a person.

It’s been a few weeks since Tyrese announced he was officially single, after breaking up with his girlfriend/Instagram model, Zelie Timothy. Fast forward to today…and Zelie clearly wants her man back and has just pulled no stops at getting Tyrese to hopefully get that memo loud and clear.

In case y’all hadn’t heard, Tyrese (43) has been dating Zelie for quite some time, following his split from his now-ex-wife, Samantha. Although Zelie — who’s approximately 27 years old —  is younger than Tyrese, the two lovebirds became a fan-favorite couple because they genuinely seem like they’re in love and compliment each other personality-wise. An additional plus for Tyrese’s fans — whom are majority Black women — is that they were happy to finally see him with a fully Black woman, but that’s a topic for another day. Moving on…

The Apology Message From Tyrese’s Ex

Now, back to Zelie’s public apology to her ex. In a lengthy, emotional online post, Zelie shared an affectionate video of her and Tyrese during happier times. Here’s what her message reads:

“@Tyrese When we first got together, we promised each other that we would let nothing get in the way of our love. Not ex’s or social media. Yet, WE’VE been getting in the way of our love. I will not get into anything about what you’ve done and said. I can only speak for myself. The things I’ve done have made you so sad you chose to break that promise. Whether I’m right or wrong, I’m sorry.”

The Backstory To Their Break-Up

Earlier this month (July 2022), Tyrese went on a somewhat odd rant online, as he announced his desires to be married for the ‘rest of his life’, as well as what appear to be some of the issues he and Zelie were having.

“I just follow the sexiest people on Instagram and get in trouble for ‘Liking’ their post,” he wrote.

Apparently, Tyrese was ready to marry Zelie, but she was not trying to here that (man, what a difference a few weeks makes, though).

He also alluded that Zelie was a “snake” of some sort, writing, “Stop trying to convince me that your daughter is not a SNAKE. I just want to be released from this strong devilish allure the sexual seduction of a masterful manipulator…… Please God RELEASE ME – RELEASE ME FROM YOUR POISON RELEASE FROM YIUR STRONG HOLD RELEASE ME I BELONG TO THE KINGDOM……. I have SO MUCH MORE WORK TO DO.

Tyrese then suggested that Zelie got what she presumably wanted outta their relationship — a verified Instagram account and popularity, after gaining far more followers while dating Tyrese — but he did not, which is to marry her and live happily ever after:

“I’m single now and I want everyone to DM have fun with @zelietimothy she’s verified now and wasn’t ready to be married she still wanted to go BIG Zane live her best life…… I wanted to get married and settle down and really really NEST and embrace the COMFORTS of this FAMILY AND MARRIED LIFE………I smoke hookah at home everyday and don’t want to be in your clubs or around your women I want to stay home and be the hard working family man that I am.”

At that time, Zelie took to her own social media page to indirectly address Tyrese:
“[You’re] acting off emotions and NOT facts!,” Zelie wrote. “Hurt people hurt people and I’m the wrong one to hurt!”

Sounds like Tyrese is at the age where he’s ready to be chill and enjoy life with a woman he can call his queen. Whereas Zelie is possibly still at the age where she wants to do what 20-something-year-olds naturally want to do – partying, trying to find themselves and build their careers, etc..

Not sure if Tyrese is going to respond to Zelie’s public apology, but given their seemingly beautiful prior relationship, we’re rooting for them to kiss and make-up…as are most of their followers online. Hopefully they can find a common ground.

The past two years have been quite the rollercoaster ride of emotions for singer/actor, Tyrese Gibson, to say the least. Tyrese and Samantha’s latest posts come nearly two weeks after the singer took to Instagram with a series of posts about his wife’s labor and delivery. What started out as a casual movie date with his wife ultimately ended with them in the delivery room awaiting the arrival of their daughter. The excited singer offered a play-by-play via social media with several updates about the delivery. When Soraya was born, Tyrese shared a post announcing the arrival of his new baby girl.

With the post, he wrote, “Father God we love you for delivering on your promise princess Soraya Lee Gibson is here … 8 pounds 6 oz our lives just changed forever … #PrincessGibson #ShaylasLittleSister. Blissful Love:

Prior to sharing the recent photos of Soraya, Tyrese and Samantha went back and forth about sharing their daughter’s photo on social media but it appears they’ve had a change of heart. Since they’ve waited all year for the birth of their child, it comes as no surprise that they’ve opted to share her beautiful photos. Back in January, Samantha shared her reaction to the pregnancy and the timing of God’s plan.

“We were able to conceive at the right time, I believe,” Samantha said at the time. “There was a lot that happened last year — everyone is aware of that — and so to have the opportunity … really start a new chapter in the way that has happened, I just look to God and I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe that you would plan it this way and you do it so perfectly.’”

After that joint interview, Tyrese and Samantha revealed in April that they were expecting a baby girl. “Both of our love and energy and magic and families are bonded forever because we’re going to have this child,” Gibson said during the interview with his wife. “It’s unbelievable.”

Now, as many of y’all may recall, during Tyrese’s prior breakdown, he’d falsely claimed his wife was pregnant and had fans giving him ‘congratulations’ messages all over social media. It wasn’t until weeks later, after he’d gotten off of his psyche meds, that the brotha revealed she wasn’t pregnant and that the drugs made him say those things.

I guess that’s why now that Samantha really IS pregnant, the Mr. and Mrs. have made sure to prove they have a precious bun in the oven this go ’round. Their new photos are pretty dope, however, fans are not letting Tyrese off the hook that easy. His prior “Black Queen” statement and indirect insults toward Black women, are now resurfacing, as a result of their new photo spread.

First, The Backstory On Tyrese’s “Black Queen” Backlash

For those of y’all who missed our prior report, here’s a quick recap: In 2017, when Tyrese announced his marriage to Samantha on social media, he referred to his wife as a “Black Queen” and the backlash he received was on level 10. Why? It’s because his wife is and looks biracial, so many of his predominantly African American female fans were offended when he gave Samantha the title of “Black Queen.” In fact that, that sparked a heated debate online and Black Twitter wasted no time slammin’ the HELL outta Tyrese.

But here’s where the backlash went from level 10 to level 1000 within minutes: Tyrese then took to Instagram and shared another lengthy post, where he ranted and criticized women who undergo procedures, such as botox and breast implants, and who also wear weaves. Tyrese then opened up a whole new can of worms with women, when he apparently compared his wife- whom he refers to as a “natural beauty”- to women who have what he calls “manufactured beauty”…thus referring to his weaves comment, etc. That’s when fans REALLY let him have it. He then came back and attempted to clear up his statements.

Fast forward to today and here we are…fans are now sounding off online and the new pregnancy photos have sparked another complexion debate about Tyrese’s “Black Queen”:
