There comes a time in most of our lives when we say, ‘Enough is enough.’ For legendary UGK rapper, Bun B, that time is now. As most of y’all know, rapper Megan Thee Stallion (25) was reportedly shot in her feet by her then boyfriend/rapper, Torey Lanez (28). The incident went down in July in Los Angeles, CA; but it wasn’t until a few days ago that Megan publicly confirmed who shot her. Now that the cat’s outta the bag, Bun B. has much to say about the celebs who are choosing to remain silent on the matter.

Megan Calls Out Torey Lanez:

In a recent Instagram Live video, Megan was fed up with Torey Lanez’s camp reportedly lying about the shooting. “You shot me,” she said, speaking directly about Lanez in her video. “And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying… Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand.”

Many Celebs Remained Silent:

Although celebrities like Halle Berry, Michael B. Jordan, and J.R. Smith spoke out in defense of Megan, many more celebs have gone radio silent. That includes Louisiana native, Lil’ Boosie, who’s trending on social media for refusing to weigh in on the shooting during a new interview. Boosie says he is cool with both Megan and Torey Lanez. Therefore, he did not want to speak ill will toward either of them. However, many fans felt that he should speak his mind…just as he did when he spoke about Dwayne Wade’s transgender daughter.

Bun B Goes Off About Megan, Torey, And Black Women

Bun B. wholeheartedly disagrees with the silent celebs. He spoke on Instagram Live to stand up for his fellow Houston rapper, Megan, and he made some solid points, below are just a few (video below):

Bun B- “I tried to be impartial and cool about this, and not get in it….man, but f**k that man. Torey Lanez, I’m from Houston and if somebody would’ve done something to Megan in this city, man we woulda rolled. …Megan in L.A. by herself. … She ain’t got a momma no more, her momma’s gone; her daddy’s gone, her grandmother’s gone. All the people that loved and cared about her unconditionally, that looked out for her and would have protected her, ain’t there. … So as an OG in Houston, I’m standing up!

Torey Lanez did some ho a$$ s**t…period! … If the man on drugs, get him some g**damn rehab, if he has mental health issues, get him some therapy, but you NOT gon’ just gon’ sit here and shoot this girl, and we not say nothing!” … Anytime a man hurts a woman…that ain’t love, that’s obsession.”

Bun be says the reason why many aren’t standing up for Megan is because she’s a Black woman:

“God bless our Black women, because Black women be knowing [that] Black men are in the wrong, and they still stand up for us. Why? Because they know what White people do to Black MEN.

This is why Black women are so hesitant to speak against Black men, because Black women know how the legal system will treat Black men; they know how White America will treat Black men when they’ve done something wrong. And Black women bite their tongue behind the s**t that we do…they’ve done it for centuries. They [Black women] put themselves in front of us constantly!”

Bun B then went on to give examples of how all throughout the segregation era, up to present day, “Black women are on the front line” for Black men.

Welp, can’t argue with the brotha on this one….like we said, Bun B. made some solid points. Hopefully, Megan Thee Stallion hasn’t been permanently scarred psychologically from this shooting incident. As far as Torey Lanez, the case is still ongoing, so we’ll have to sit back and see how this plays out for the 5’3″ Canadian rap star.

UGK rap legend, Bun B., and his wife have just spoken out for the first time, regarding what really went down during the life-threatening home invasion by a masked robber a week ago.

As we previously reported, Bun B. was forced to shoot a home intruder who held his wife at gun point on Tuesday April 23rd. Thankfully, Bun B. and his wife, Queenie, were not harmed. The suspect was later hospitalized with a gun shot wound and was arrested on 3 felony charges for the crime.

After hearing their side of the story, we, like many others, are giving Bun B’s wife of 16 years a round of applause and an Old School fist bump for what she really did, which was previously unknown.

In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, Queenie and Bun B detailed how it was Queenie who was “the real hero” because as the intruder was holding her at gunpoint, she instinctually chose to protect Bun B, who was unaware of what was actually happening at that time.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, we reported that UGK rap legend, Bun B., was forced to shoot a home intruder who held his wife at gun point on Tuesday evening. Thankfully, Bun B. and his wife, Queenie, were not harmed. The suspect was later hospitalized with a gun shot wound and was arrested on 3 felony charges for the crime.

Now that suspect, DeMonte Jackson, has his official court appearance on Wednesday, new details have been revealed, as well as the video surveillance footage at Bun B’s home…

Latest Details About Home Invasion At Bun B’s Home

Via Houston’s ABC13 News:”He [DeMonte Jackson] was seen trying to force his way into other homes in the neighborhood and was successful in forcing his way into their home, and put a gun to his wife’s head,” said attorney Charles Adams, who represents Bun B.

ABC13 Eyewitness News obtained video of a person neighbors identified as Jackson. He is seen on video wearing all black and casing the high end townhome development just south of NRG stadium.

Queenie answered the door, thinking that it was a delivery from Amazon, but what happened next nearly cost Bun B.’s wife her life. According to court documents, suspect, DeMonte Jackson, stuck a gun in her face, demanding jewels and other expensive property.

When Queenie immediately offered the robber the keys to her Audi, the court records show just how terrified she was. “In fear of her life she told the suspect, ‘Please don’t kill me, please don’t kill me, just take the car,'” a court reported read during Wednesday’s hearing, regarding Bun B’s wife’s encounter with DeMonte Jackson.

It was also revealed that when Bun B. heard the commotion downstairs, he immediately grabbed his gun and ran toward where his wife was. He soon found the suspect in their garage, attempting to take her car.

Although initial reports stated that DeMonte got away with Queenie’s Audi, court records show that he did not. Instead, when Bun B caught him in their garage, the rap legend let off several shots at DeMonte, who then fled the scene, car-less, while simultaneously firing back at Bun B.

Bun B. was able to ID suspect from a photo lineup…

ABC13: Police were called, and officers presented a photo line up to Bun B. Even though Jackson wore a mask during the alleged home invasion, Bun B was able to identify him by his long hair and distinctive tattoo.

“Bun and Queen aren’t just clients, but they are close friends,” Adams said. “Terrifying ordeal and thank God they’re okay.”

Why Bun B has not spoken out…
According to ABC 13 News, Attorney Charles Adams ‘said he advised Bun B not to speak publicly right now.’

I’m so glad that Bun B. and Queenie were not harmed. The suspect also needs to be showing gratitude, because his dangerously ignant act of senseless violence, could have very well led to his senseless death. Hopefully that brotha learns a valuable lesson from this and changes his life going forward.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ around 5:45 last night, there was a knock at Bun B’s door … his wife, Queenie, opened it — thinking it was a possible delivery — to find a masked man holding a gun on the other side. The intruder demanded valuables, and Queenie offered up her Audi in the garage.
