In case you’re not a soap opera watcher, you probably missed the fact that Bryton has been earning “The Young & The Restless” money for 17 years now! He plays the character, “Devon,” on the show.  Check out Bryton now at 36 years old, and get reminded of just how Old School we all are! Seems like dude was just a kid yesterday…geesh!

Talk about getting over the childhood actor hump…Bryton has completely shattered that whole kid actor stigma that so many other child actors unfortunately go through once they get older. They’re often typecast as just being a kid actor in Hollywood, making it difficult for them to find constant work as an adult. Bryton must have had a helluva team around him, because he has found a way to break that mold. This is news to many of us, who’d just assumed that the man’s career had long ago rested in peace in ‘Hollywood heaven’ so to speak.

Here are a few other facts we found out about Bryton:

He’s been acting since he was 2 years old.

He was once married to actress, Ashley Leisinger, in 2011…they later divorced in 2014.

His best friend – of several decades – is his Young and the Restless co-star, Christell Khalil– who plays “Lily Winters,” the sister of Bryton’s character, “Devon Hamilton,” on the show…

Bryton is currently in a reported 4-years-long relationship with his Young and the Restless co-star, Brytni Sarpy– who’s best known for her role as “Valerie Spencer” on the soap opera. Check out the two lovebirds below…

As far as we know, Bryton has no kids as of yet.

He often pays homage to Michael Jackson on social media, because he worked with the ‘King’ when he was younger, and ultimately got to know him pretty well.

Bryton is of mixed heritage, his mother is Caucasian…

His father is African American…

If it’s one thing we always love seeing, it’s an actor from back in the day, still maintaining and earning a living doing what their life’s passion is. At 36 years old, our man, Bryton James, has a LOT more life to live and many more years to build his legacy. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for the brotha.

Who’s Her Superstar Mama?

She is the one and only Victoria Rowell a.k.a. “Drucilla Winters” from the Young and the Restless! Her daughter’s name is Maya Fahey.

“My birth daughter Maya. BLACK is many shades.”

Maya has worked with her mom as an art director for some of Victoria’s independent films, according to Victoria’s online posts.

On a side note, something’s obviously wrong with America’s “one-drop-rule,” because the fact of the matter is that Maya is truly a blend of both races- not just one. But yet, she and other biracial people are forced to claim one side so society knows where to ‘place’ them…not sure if that’s really fair to biracial citizens, but that’s a whole ‘notha topic for another day. Back to Victoria Rowell and her fam’…

Victoria Rowell Also Has A Son With A Well-Known Music Legend

In case you missed our previous article on Victoria’s other child – her son, Jasper – you may be surprised to know that his father (Victoria’s former boyfriend of many years) is a very popular music artist.

Victoria Rowell has a beautiful family, and by the way, it sure would be nice seeing “Drucilla” back on The Young and the Restless again, but from the looks of it, that ain’t happening. She’s made public claims that CBS’s execs racially discriminate against people of color. After spending seventeen years on Y&R (from 1990-2007), Victoria quit the show because she was fed up with the alleged lack of racial diversity behind the scenes of the show.

In 2014, Rowell took to Twitter to voice her opinion, saying “Young & Restless on air for 40 years, loyally watched by their absolute competitive-edge audience (blacks) & not one black Exec producer?” She filed a lawsuit against the Young and the Restless in February 2015 for that very reason, so we’ll sit back and see what the outcome of that is. As the battle of Grandpa vs. granddaughter rages on over the estate of Young & The Restless star, Kristoff St. John, a judge has just dropped an order on both of ’em that they were not necessarily hoping for.

A few weeks ago we informed y’all that when Kristoff died on February 3, 2019, it was originally believed he’d left no will, which made things even more chaotic as his different family members scrambled to gain control over his estate. At that time, Kristoff’s eldest daughter, Paris St. John (27) and his ex-wife, Mia St. John, were the first to file for estate control. Then Kristoff’s pops, Christopher St. John, shocked them when he presented the court with a handwritten from his son.

The Latest Court Order
The judge has yet to decide who gets what, nor if the handwritten will is authentic. Therefore, the case of Grandpops vs. Grandbaby has taken a slight twist. They now have to work together:

Via The Blast- A hearing was held earlier this week after the soap star’s father and daughter filed opposing documents in his probate case. St. John’s father submitted a handwritten will he believed to be valid, while the daughter believed the will was never meant to be seen.

During the hearing, the judge ruled that Christopher St. John and Paris St. John were to be named Co-Special Administrators of the estate until a hearing in July. The judge stated they each had equal powers and the two sides must agree on the sale of any of St. John’s property and what to do with the proceeds from any sale of his belongings.

When Young & The Restless star, Kristoff St. John passed away on February 3, 2019, his family was left to try to mourn, while still attempting to handle their business in order to make sure Kristoff’ finances and property were maintained.

It was originally believed that he left no will, which made things even more chaotic as his family scrambled to gain control over his estate. However, now, Kristoff’s father, Christopher St. John, and his eldest (of two) daughters, Paris St. John (27; pictured above), are in a tug of war over his estate, after his Pops shocked the hell outta everybody with his latest revelation.

What Kristoff’s daughter, Paris wants…
Paris, the daughter of Kristoff and his ex-wife, Mia St. John Paris, made the first move. According to The Blast, she recently filed court documents to gain control of her Pop’s estate. In her filing, Paris notes that she believes her dad did NOT have a will, and states that his estimated net worth is $122,000.

Paris may not get what she’s asking for though, see why below.

What Kristoff’s Father has just revealed…
Kristoff’s father has suddenly provided a handwritten will, which is said to have been written by Kristoff, a little under 2 years ago:

Via the Blast: According to the will filed by Kristoff’s father, Christopher St. John, wrote, “In the event of my untimely death,” he wanted all his personal savings and money to be divided up among his two daughters, Lola and Paris, with a split of 75% and 25%.

Remember Victoria Rowell, the actress who played “Drucilla Winters” on The Young & The Restless?

Well, one thing many don’t know is that she has a child with a very well known music artist, whose been in the game for decades. In fact, he comes from a very well known family and they dated for years, but never married…

Victoria’s ex and father of her child is none other than Wynton Marsalis, the famous 9 time Grammy winning jazz musician. You may have heard of him, he’s a member of the infamous Marsalis family– the jazz family consisting of Wynton’s Dad, Ellis Marsalis Jr.; and his brothers, Branford, Delfeayo, and Jason Marsalis. Wynton’s grandfather was also a jazz a musician who started it all for their family’s path, he’s the late Ellis Marsalis Sr.

Victoria and Wynton have a son named Jasper, who looks a lot like his Pops. The two of them were in a seven year relationship, but it ended several years ago.

The soap star moved on and was once rumored to be dating rapper, 50 Cent, around 2007, but that was never confirmed. The only thing that they did confirm, was that they were great friends and Victoria revealed on a radio show, that she’s cooked breakfast for 50 Cent before…hmmmm. We’ll just leave that one alone…LOL.

After the whole 50 Cent rumor, Victoria moved on to the married life and tied the knot with Atlanta artist, Radcliffe Bailey in 2009.

Unfortunately, that didn’t last and the two quietly divorced in 2014. They had no children together, so their divorce was pretty simple. The only thing they allegedly requested of each other in the divorce settlement, is that neither one of them bothers, nor harasses the other. Their requests were a lil’ weird, but at least it was amicable.

Here’s an interesting bit of info about Radcliffe’s and Victoria’s wedding- actor, Samuel Jackson, walked Victoria down the isle! I guess she sees him as a big brother or father figure, so that probably was an honor for Jackson to do. Y’all know Samuel Jackson has a tendency to let more than a few curse words slip out every now and then, but we’re pretty sure he behaved himself at the wedding.

Here’s a very random Old School fun fact about Victoria: She wasn’t always an actress, she actually was a ballet dancer, but she’s stated that she could never go as far as her ballet friends were able to go at that time, because she is Black.

So, what’s she doing nowadays? One thing she’s doing is aging gracefully: Victoria’s 59 years old now and she’s just as beautiful as ever.

She’s an advocate for equal rights/equal opportunity for African Americans within our society and within the entertainment world. She actually filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against CBS (the home of The Young & The Restless) in February 2015.

Victoria finally got frustrated with the lack of racial diversity behind the scenes. In a prior series of tweets, she threw shade at the entertainment industry for not having enough African-Americans in higher ranking, decision making positions. “Young & Restless on air for 40 years, loyally watched by their absolute competitive-edge audience (blacks) & not one black Exec producer?,” she tweeted.

Thankfully, Victoria is still doing what she does best- acting.

You can catch her in several independent films, including the Netflix movie, “November Rule.” The film was produced by Queen Latifah and also stars singer, Macy Gray; actresses Tatyana Ali (of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), LaLa Anthony and more.
