When it comes to social media, people never think of the possible blowback before the hit the “send” button. A gay pastor has learned the hard way with his recent attempt to entice a straight man. Back in 2014, according to VIBE magazine, a pastor reportedly sent a photo of his eggplant to R&B singer Tank and he definitely wasn’t havin’ it. In fact, Tank took to Instagram to blast the undercover minister and the situation opened a bigger can of worms, from there.

Blasting the “Man of God”:

If you haven’t seen the post, your jaw will probably drop when you see what Tank had to say. Tank basically implied that the minister sent the X-rated content without consent and he wasn’t very pleased. With his blasting post, he wrote;

“I first apologize for this image to all my fans and anybody who sees this! This man is claiming to be a minister and sends this to my DM!! This is what’s wrong with the church now! Misrepresentation of God and who he really is!! This is the devil operating in our sacred place! We can’t allow this ANYWHERE!! I have no problems with homosexuals BUT I do have a problem with this!! What message were you trying to send a straight man “minister”?

He continued:

“I hope ur bishop everybody in ur congregation become aware of your actions! If you’ll send this to a celebrity God only knows what ur sending to kids and etc!! The devil is working and this is what it looks like! I won’t stand by and allow it to happen! I will take this down soon, BUT this serves as a warning to you perverts infiltrating our churches!! You’re not welcome!! I pray that God deals with you swiftly and accordingly!!”

Although Tank addressed the situation, the minister’s boldness may stem from the singer’s confession about his preferences in the bedroom.

Behind Closed Doors:

For those who missed that discussion, Tank previously admitted that he actually enjoys a little salad tossing in the bedroom. During a previous interview with DJ Vlad, Tank opened up about what he enjoys behind closed doors, starting at 3m 19seconds.

Of course, that doesn’t mean he’s gay, but to a gay man, it probably looked like a glimmer of hope. Unfortunately, that would explain why the minister decided to shoot his shot. But he failed miserably. Maybe, he’ll think twice about sending unsolicited nude photos to straight men in the future.
