It’s been almost 5 years since the legendary Teena Marie passed away (it’ll be exactly 5 years on December 26, 2015) and it seems like it was just yesterday that we were getting the news that the songstress had sadly taken her last breathe.

Because Teena lived a private life, other than the time she dated Rick James, that led many people to wondering if it was Rick James who was in fact the father of her daughter. Rick had a very close relationship with Teena’s lil’ girl and they were sometimes photo’d together- just the three of them.
