While there is still no official word on the role Campbell will play in his forthcoming appearance on Queen Sugar, the singer has had a long career in music. Campbell burst on the scene as a teenager with “Tomorrow (A Better You, Better Me) in 1990. The song was from Quincy Jones’ hugely successful, Grammy award winning LP, Back On The Block. He then appeared on the Graffiti Bridge soundtrack with “Round and Round,” written and produced by Prince.

He Was Nominated For Five Grammys

He would eventually drop his platinum debut album T.E.V.I.N. His follow up, I’m Ready. It sold over 2 million copies and he was nominated for 5 Grammys.
