Tevin Campbell Surprises His Childhood Crush Who’s Now A Famous TV Reporter
Okay ILOSM family, before we get into what Tevin Campbell just did for the childhood crush who was beyond shocked by his surprise, we first must reminisce about the former R&B kid crooner. Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that a 14 year old Tevin was singing “Tell Me What You Want Me To Do?”
Although the brotha is now 40, there is just something about seeing Tevin today that always makes me feel old as hell. He was like the teen singer who was never supposed to grow up and in some ways, he didn’t. He still has that same voice that can hit the same notes and range as he did back in the day and he’s barely aged much since 1991.

Fast forward to present day, and he is still making the ladies who were kids at the time, gush over him like they’re reliving their tween years all over again. That brings us to his current super fan, Sheinelle Jones, who admitted that he was her childhood crush as a teen. To prove it, she did the most when Tevin popped up at her job. In case she looks familiar, it’s because she’s a TV host on The Today Show and for her prior birthday, the TV producers gave her the present of her life.
In the middle of Sheinelle’s TV segment, Tevin walked onto the screen, with serenading her with flowers and his 90’s jam, “Tell Me What You Want Me To Do.” Sheinelle then flipped out, stopped what she was doing, skipped over to him, then started rapping his verse from another of his 90’s hits, “Round and Round”…

Now, I know what some of y’all are thinking- because many of you have asked us on Facebook in the past…and no, we don’t know for sure what Tevin’s type is. HOWEVER, as we previously reported, Tevin did state that he is “try-sexual” during his interview some years ago with Sister2Sister Magazine. Not sure what that means, but that’s Tevin’s business. It doesn’t matter to us, here at ILOSM, if the dude is straight, bi, or “try”…we still have nothing but luv for Mr. Campbell. Keep doing your thing Tev!’
