Oprah Winfrey is one billionaire who’s been carrying herself with class and dignity for decades, unlike another billionaire we know, but that’s neither here, nor there. Anyways, we all have moments when we have to put a hater in check and even the most classiest person can get pushed to his or her limits when it comes at times. That was the case for Oprah, when a random hater decided to troll her comments section on social media.

Of course Oprah is very accustomed to getting her fair share of haters, it comes with the territory. However, it seems that in the past few days, ever since hype has been building around the fact that millions of fans are pushing for Oprah to run for president in 2020, she’s received much more adoration and hate alike. So I guess Oprah had a lil’ time on her hands the other day and decided to step outside of character and check a hater, before carrying on about her day.

Here’s What Happened

Oprah posted an online message and video to inform her fans about her then upcoming CBS Sunday Morning special, regarding the #TimesUp anti-sexual harassment movement. She announced:

“This I did Monday night before the mudslides hit. #TimesUp conversation with @reesewitherspoon, @shondarhimes, @americaferrera, @traceeellisross, @nportmanofficial, Kathleen Kennedy, and Nina Shaw. Hope you’ll watch tomorrow on @CBSSundayMorning.”

That’s when a hater decided to leave a comment for Oprah, stating “I don’t like you.” And according to The Shaderoom, Oprah then hit back with this:

“Then why are you here on this feed? Life is too short to follow and engage with people u don’t like. Peace out.”

Check out their exchange below…

I love how Oprah put that extra stank on it, with her peace fingers symbol at the end of her clap-back. Gotta luv the haters…SMH. Tell ’em Ms. Winfrey!

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
