Usher Turns 40 & His Ex Wife Tameka Foster Surprised Everybody With What She Just Did
To say that Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, have had a ‘rocky past,’ would be an understatement. However, they are making people smile with what they’ve just done for Usher’s 40th. Hold up, we’ll let that sink in for a minute. Usher -the youngin,’ who was singing “My Way” years ago- is officially part of the Old School 40 and up club. Anywho, now that he’s divorcing his current wife, Grace Miguel, check out just how far he and his ex-wife have now come.
As most of us know, their union and it’s aftermath was filled with extreme bitterness, pain and the ultimate grief.
Their Ongoing Grief
After being married for 2 years and 3 months, they officially divorced in 2009. Sadly, by 2012, Tameka’s then 11 year old son, Kyle Glover, lost his life during a freak accident on water skies with family members. Usher loved Kyle like he was his own flesh and blood, even though he was merely his ex-stepfather by that time.
Months later, fearing for the safety of his own two sons with Tameka, Usher filed for and won sole custody of their sons that same year. It was one of the most bitter and painful custody battles ever.
Tameka Defends Herself Against Herpes Scandal
Then by 2017, Tameka found herself being dragged into Usher’s public drama over his ongoing herpes scandal and accusations. During that time, Tameka was forced to have to speak out to let folks know that every last one of the herpes allegations against Usher happened AFTER they were no longer together and that her health is in 100% tip top shape.
What They’ve Just Done…TOGETHER
As if that wasn’t shocking enough, Mr. ‘Ursher baby’ was showered with love by the ex-wifey for his October 14th 40th b-day celebration. In a very rare move, Tameka took to Instagram to wish her ex-man happy birthday, along with video and photos of Usher and their sons. In her post caption, Tameka clowned the brotha about finally becoming an “old man” and she referred to herself as Usher’s “best mistake.”
