Vanessa B.Calloway &Her GROWN DAUGHTERS Celebrate Her 60th BDay In Most EPIC Way
Most of us old schoolers have been loving actress, Vanessa Bell Calloway ever since her ‘Princess Imani’ days in Coming To America. Her classic line “Whatever it is that you like” still cracks me up to this day.
But since her 1988 ‘bark like a dog/hop on one leg’ lines, she’s made a helluva name for herself in many roles, including her more recent ones on Bounce TV’s Saints & Sinners, and the hit Showtime series, Shameless.
The thing that is probably most intriguing to many of her fans is that the beautiful Ms. Calloway has just turned 60 on March 20th (2017) and damn near looks the exact same as she did in ’88.
As a breast cancer survivor, Vanessa is an inspiration to many and she’s also thankful for the years she’s been blessed with thus far. So thankful in fact, that she threw a big star studded birthday bash surrounded by her husband of 28 years, Dr. Anthony Calloway, their two gorgeous daughters, Ally and Ashley, and lots of love from family and friends.
The Most Beautiful 60th B-Day Tribute For Vanessa Was A Dance With Her Daughters
The thing that made many a lil’ misty eyed was when Vanessa and her two girls (all three of them are trained dancers) debuted their 60th birthday dance video to the world. In the video, they did a very touching choreographed dance to Regina Belle’s “If I Could.” Vanessa once again proved that she is an ageless beauty…especially when she slid down into a full suicide split like nobody’s business!
The love displayed in their video was very prevalent and also a reminder of just how far Vanessa has come in her life and with her health…

In case you missed our prior report about Ashley and Alexandra Calloway, the daughthers of Vanessa and Dr. Anthony Calloway, here are a few facts about them: They are in their early 20’s and both are graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta- Ashley graduated in 2012 and Ally in 2016. The three Calloway ladies are also sorors…they can now officially give the classic ‘skeewee’ greeting to each other as Alpha Kappa Alpha ladies. Lastly, they have a very tight knit relationship with their parents, which is always a beautiful thing to see.
We wish Vanessa Bell Calloway many more birthdays in the years to come. Mrs. Calloway, you’re lookin’ good Mama…thanks for inspiring so many!
