ILOSM family, for decades, the legendary Freddie Jackson has graced us with performances of his many hits, like “Tasty Love,” “Rock With Me Tonight,” “Jam Tonight,” “You Are My Lady,” and more. What you are about to see now though, is gonna require all of us Freddie fans to now give him something in return- an abundance of prayers and/or well wishes and positive energy. Why? Because a video that has just surfaced, of one of his most recent performances in December 2017, has everyone -including us, here at ILoveOldSchoolMusic- deeply concerned about the brotha. **SCROLL DOWN FOR THE VIDEO FOOTAGE OF FREDDIE JACKSON**

Many of y’all may recall an article we published few months ago, when Freddie had given his reason for his dramatic weight loss in a radio interview. At that time, Freddie explained that the cause of him going from his signature heavier weight, to the very thin Freddie we see now, was due to him changing his diet and living a healthier lifestyle. When we shared that story with you all, comments were left by many, on our Facebook, who believed there was more to Freddie’s story and health that he was hiding from the public.

Well, based on his recent concert, it’s now very difficult not to believe there is actually something else going on that is far from just a diet change. We have zero confirmation that Freddie has any sort of health issue though, so don’t quote us on that topic.

However, when he appeared in concert the other night, he seems to have lost even more weight and his words were a tad slurred. His singing voice, which is typically hella strong and boisterous, was instead extremely weakened. At times throughout his performance of “Rock With Me Tonight,” he couldn’t even muster up the wind to hit many of the notes at all. Although Freddie still remained in good spirits throughout the performance, he was clearly being weighed down by something. Whether it was due to an illness, or some other issue still remains to be proven, but sadly, something appeared to be wrong with him.

The video in question is one taken by an audience member, Darrin Davis, who posted the footage to Facebook and expressed concern about what he’d just witnessed at Freddie Jackson’s show:

Rocking with #FreddieJackson on Christmas Eve’s eve. I was shocked at his appearance, as he didn’t appear well. He announced that he had a cold, but said he was going to be there tonight regardless. He actually sounded good and put on a good show, but by the time he got to this final song he seemed completely drained. He sang all of his hits including Rock Me Tonight, Jam Tonight, Have You Ever Loved Somebody and You Are My Lady. Plus This Christmas and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. -Darrin D.

We’ve seen situations that are eerily similar to Freddie’s before, but hopefully this is something that the 61 year old crooner can overcome from soon. Freddie comes across as a very proud man and sometimes proud men do not want to appear weak in any way understandably so. However, we all need a little prayer and uplifting energy sent our way sometimes.
