Video Surfaces Of James Brown’s Daughter & She Proves That She Can Dance Just Like Her Dad

Posted On : July 8, 2018

The apple definitely didn’t fall far from the tree! The Godfather of Soul’s daughter has some SERIOUS skills that she clearly learned directly from her Dad!

We were sent video footage of James Brown’s daughter, Venisha Brown, cuttin’ up at a performance with Mr. Brown’s band, and we just had to share it with our ILOSM family. The main reason we thought this was a great video to showcase, is because with all of the drama and negative press that the Brown family has endured over the years, ever since Mr. Brown’s passing (due to continued legal problems with James Brown’s estate) we wanted to spread a lil’ bit of sunshine on the Brown children for a change. This video is perfect timing for that and trust me, Venisha Brown will NOT let you down…she killed it with her performance! Peep the video below to check her out…

Darryl Brown is the son of James Brown and he was also a guitar player in Brown’s band up until the day that Brown passed away. Below is a pic of Darryl (on the right playing guitar), MC Hammer, and James’ daughter, Venisha Brown (on the left in the black shirt) dancing and performing at The Godfather of Soul’s funeral.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
