Weeks After Giving Birth & Being Dumped By Husband, Keke Wyatt Goes Public w/Her New Boo

Posted On : November 22, 2017

Seems like just yesterday that singer, Keke Wyatt, was on camera blasting her husband, Michael Ford, for filing for divorce while she was eight months pregnant. Remember that social media meltdown she had a la Tyrese style? To top off that surprise divorce filing, just weeks prior, Keke sadly announced that her teenage son was battling cancer, so she shaved her head in support of her son’s chemo treatment and cancer fight.

Meet Her New Bae…Sorta

Fast forward to Thanksgiving week of November, just two months after her husband said “Peace out” to her, and Keke is having another Instagram ‘sorta’ moment. She’s just taken to social media to show off her new bae…sorta. You see, although she posed with her mystery boo-thang, lookin’ really comfy cozy in his embrace, she made sure she did so in a way that shaded the dude’s face. One thing is for sure though, whomever the brotha is, he ain’t her hubby, Michael Ford. Check out her lovey-dovey post below…

Recap Of Keke’s Rollercoaster Life

Our hearts were heavy for Keke and her son, when she announced, in June, that he was battling cancer and asked everyone for prayers…

Months later, Keke announced that thankfully her son had a successful chemo stint and is now in remission…

Then in when Keke blasted her husband in early September, she stated in her video rant the following:
“Your husband got the nerve to tell you that he wants a divorce….Because he says that you’re an emotional wreck, he says that from the very beginning you never trusted me and all that kind of stuff. Like, telling other women that we getting a divorce and if she…”

A few days later, Michael strongly resented what Keke had done and Keke also seemed to regret it as well. She took to social media to clarify what she meant:

“I never said he’s not a good father. He’s a wonderful father. He’s an amazing father. That I can never take away from him. That’s one thing he’ll always be is a great dad. Now timing. Your timing ain’t good buddy. But as far as being a father, he’s a wonderful daddy. That man cooks, takes care of these babies. He’s a great husband, a great father. Sometimes, people can clash and it’s not good to clash in front of your kids.”

After her last public statement about Michael, neither she nor he have said anything negative about each other. In fact, they’ve even posted pics of themselves spending quality time with their kids, even though they’ll soon be divorced, so it’s all good.

Overall, Keke and Michael have had one helluva roller coaster wave of emotions, given all that the past few months have brought. We’ve taken the liberty to sum up Keke’s year thus far, with a few songs that could be the current soundtrack of her life…

Yolanda Adams’ “The Battle Is Not Your’s” is exactly the inspirational hymn Keke needed to hear as she supported her son through his cancer fight…

Mary J. Blige’s “Not Gon’ Cry” was the strong woman’s anthem Keke needed when she had that social media meltdown due to Michael’s divorce filing…

Cheryl Pepsii Riley’s “Thanks For My Child” is the perfect ballad of gratitude for the precious life she birthed in the midst of her heartbreak…

Mya’s “Moving On” is where Keke clearly seems to be with her love life and new bae now…

Best wishes to Keke, Michael and their nine kids.
