Wendy Williams 2001 Vow To Leave Her Husband If Cheats Resurfaces

Posted On : April 1, 2019

The evidence is pretty overwhelming. It seems the whole world knows that talk show host Wendy Williams’ husband is cheating on her.

Most of the 54-year-old’s loyal “co-hosts” seem confused as why the outspoken and candid star doesn’t leave her husband Kevin Hunter, 46.

In 2001, the daytime TV star wrote in her memoir that she would part ways with Hunter if he cheated on her. She also revealed he had already been unfaithful to her earlier on in their relationship.

Williams – who married Hunter in 1997  – wrote in the New York Best Selling Book Wendy’s Got the Heat:

“The only thing that would make me walk out for good is if he lied about anything – if he was in love, if she was just as successful at what she does as I am in my career, if she had his baby.”

Hunter has allegedly been in a relationship with 33-year-old Sharina Hudson for 10 years. Hudson reportedly gave birth to Hunter’s second child – a baby girl – in a hospital in Pennsylvania. Hunter and Williams share a 19 year old son together – Kevin Jr.

Williams recently admitted on her show that she was living in a sober house. She reportedly relapsed in her sobriety after learning her husband was to become a father again.

The TV host was rushed to hospital Monday after she allegedly got drunk in Long Island City, New York.

In her memoir, Williams wrote about how she reacted when learning Hunter was unfaithful when she was pregnant.

“In those forty-five seconds my woman’s intuition kicked in and I knew he was on the phone with a lover. No woman deserves this. … I wanted to kill him. I mean really kill him. For real. I wanted to kill him more because I was in the process of breaking my Number One Rule: No Cheating.”
