When you look at these beautiful soul legends before you today, it’s hard to tell that one of them was once a gun toting Black Panther Party member back in the day.

This icon was serious about making it known that Black voices must be heard and Black people should have the same rights as any other race. In fact, she once pounded the pavement every single day to get that message out to as many people as she could, along with the rest of her fellow Black Panther Party members at that time.
