On Tuesday, Williams revealed that she’s been living in a sober house to address past addiction issues. Williams broke down in tears on her show on Tuesday morning, admitting she had been living at the sober home and was attending meetings around New York City.

She did not reveal exactly what addiction she was battling, but the veteran talk show host has admitted to struggles with cocaine in the past. Williams admitted she never fully received treatment and one day just “decided to stop.”

Williams stood straight to camera and admitted that every day after she tapes her show, she does pilates, then visits family. She is then being driven to the sober facility, where she is placed on lockdown. She said the “smelly men” she lives with in the sober facility have become her family. Although she revealed she hadn’t told her own family – except her son and husband – that she was receiving in house treatment.

“After I go to the pilates and go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area,” Wendy explained. “I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help … They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting this ride.”

Her Husband Allegedly Cheated

Back in January, Wendy took an extended leave from The Wendy Williams Show after announcing she was suffering complications from Graves’ Disease.

During her break, the show went into re-runs before coming back with celebrity guest hosts, including Nick Cannon, Jerry O’Connell and Michael Rapaport.

In 2017, DailyMailTV  revealed her husband Kevin Hunter was having a ten-year affair with 33-year-old massage therapist Sharina Hudson.
