Woman Comes Forward Claiming To Be Prince’s Kid & Her ‘Proof’ Is Interesting

Posted On : May 21, 2018

Prince’s siblings and the court system long ago thought the ‘Prince’s children’ claims were a don dada, but nope, they were wrong. It’s been two years since the beloved “Purple Rain” icon passed away and it has apparently taken that long for one woman to step forward with claims that she’s his kid. Now, remember when soon after Prince’s passing, a bunch of people came outta the woodwork, claiming to be his offspring? They all were proven wrong and therefore didn’t get one drop of the fortune Prince left behind without a will.

As Prince’s remaining proven heirs- his six siblings- await to receive their proper shares, Snowe Melinda Saxman, has filed paperwork in Minnesota, to try to get her cut to. According to reports, her so-called proof, that she’s Prince’s daughter, is flaky, yet entertaining at best. Here’s what was just reported:

Via TMZ: …Snowe Melinda Saxman…filed paperwork in a Minnesota court — obtained by TMZ — in which she says she believes she’s Prince’s birth daughter… Saxman says she was adopted, and never knew her real parents — but, based on her “substantial physical, temperamental and aspirational similarities to Prince” … she has reason to believe she’s his actual kid. She also claims she looks like Prince, and has musical prowess like her father. As she puts it … she’s “very artsy” and a “natural-born star.” […]

Saxman goes on to say she recently did a background check of herself through a company called Family Tree DNA, which she claims shows she’s matched up genetics-wise with numerous people in Prince’s family tree, including John Lewis Nelson, Mattie Della Baker, and others. She says she didn’t match with Prince directly ’cause his DNA’s not in the system.

C’mon now…”temperamental” and “artsy” similarities, combined with non-existent DNA results to Prince, is supposed to help her prove her case? I’m all for her quest to find out who her biological parents are, but pretty sure she’s gonna have to come with some stronger evidence to prove Prince be’s the pappy in court.

Prince’s Siblings Sue Estate Overseers

Speaking of Prince’s $250 fortune, there may not be much left to fight for, if his estate overseer, Comerica Bank, keeps spending it at the rate their going, says Prince’s siblings. As we previously reported, in February 2018, news surfaced that Prince’s siblings were (and still are) extremely worried that they won’t be getting one red cent of their inheritance from Prince. Therefore, three of Prince’s half siblings -Sharon, Norrine and John Nelson- took their grievances to court, claiming the Comerica was overspending money from Prince’s estate. They wanted the judge to remove the overseer as administrators of the estate. However, they lost that legal battle battle in March 2018.

But then Comerica actually shot back at the siblings, seeking sanctions against them to the tune of $148,500 in legal fees! That’s when the judge let it rip against the estate overseers. In a nutshell, the judge let the overseers know that they are being hella greedy, by trying to get WAY too much money from the three siblings, by amping up the cost of their legal fees. Therefore, he hit them with a MAJOR warning instead.
